ANAHEIM, AMENDING SECTION
2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 511 OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM, ENTITLED:
"AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING
FOR THE CREATION IN THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM OF FIVE ZONES,
CONSISTING OF VARIOUS DIS-
TRICTS, AND PRESCRIBING THE
CLASSES OF BUILDINGS, STRUC-
TURES AND IMPROVEMENTS IN
SEVERAL ZONES, AND THE USE
OF SUCH BUILDINGS, STRUC-
TURES, IMPROVEMENTS, AND

ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Planning Conanis-
sion of the City of Anaheim, after due
notice being given, and a regular hear-
ing held thereon on the 9th day of
.August, 1929, in the matter of change
of zone on North Palm Street between
North Street and La Palma Avenues,
recommended to this Board of Trustees
that the following change of zone be
made, and said matter having been
taken into consideration by this Board
of Trustees, and said Board of Trustees,
having found that it is for the best
interest of the City of Anaheim that
the following change in zone be made,
THEREFORE, IT IS ORDAINED
LY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM:
SECTION 1. That Section 2 of Or-
dinance No. 511 be amended as follows:
Section 2. That the property abut-
ting on both sides of North Palm Street
between North Street and La Palma
Avenue, excepting such portions of said
property as are now included in the

single family residence zone to the

Said property includes the following
lots and parcels of land:

The Westerly 115 feet of Lots 1,
2, and 3, Block 1, Lots 1 to 6 in-

Also the easterly portions of
those 60 -foot strips of land between
said Blocks I and 2 and said Blocks
2 and 3, and the southerly 43.1 feet
of that 60 -foot strip of land between

a line parallel with and distant
uniformly 115 feet westerly from
the present westerly line of North
Palm Street, all of said 60 -foot

vacated and abandoned.

In Tract No. 601, as per map
recorded in Book 19, page 47, Mis-
Streets, passed a resolution recommend-
ing to this Board of Trustees that the
following change of zone be made:
That that portion of Lot 32, Anaheim
Extension, as per map made by Wm.
Hamel, licensed surveyor, and filed for
record in the office of the County
Itecorder of Los Angeles County, Cal-
ifornia, bounded on the east by the
Southern Pacific Company's right-of-
way, on the north by Santa Ana Street,
on the `vest by Walnut Street, and
on the south by a line parallel with
and distant 587 feet southerly from the
southerly line of said Santa Ana
Street, be changed from the single
family residence zone to the light in-
dustrial zone.
That said matter, having come reg-
ularly for hearing by this Board of
Trustees, and said Board of Trustees,
having considered the same, finds that
it is for the public convenience and
necessity that said zone be changed
as recommended by said Planning Com-
mission,
NOW, THEREFORE., BE IT OR-
DAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM:

change in zone be, and the same is
hereby made:

southerly line of said Santa Ana Street,

idence zone to the light industrial zone.
SECTION 3. It is further ordained

Clerk of the City of Anaheim are
hereby authorized and directed to in-
dicate the changes aforesaid upon the

snap is on file in the office of the
City Clerk, and a copy thereof in the
office of the Building Inspector of thg

and directed to publish this Ordinance
