acter, having a bona fide subscription list of paying subscribers; that at all
said times said newspaper had been established, printed and published in the
said City of Anaheim, in said County and State at regular intervals for more

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE' CITY
OF ANAHEIM DO ORDAIN AS FOL-
LOWS :
SECTION 1. That Sections Nos. 4
and 5-A of Ordinance No. 161, entitled
An Ordinance Fixing the Compensation
of Certain Officers of the City of Ana-
heim, is hereby amended to read as fol-
lows:

7 entitled An Ordinance Fixing the Compensation of Certain Officers

9 Section 4. The compensation of the Recorder of said City shall be
10 and is hereby fixed at the sum of One Hundred Twenty-five ($125.00
11 Dollars per month payable monthly at the same time and out of the
12 same fund that the salaries of other officers of said City are
13 paid, which compensation shall be in full for all services now or
14 which may hereafter be required by him by any law of the State of
15 California, or by any ordinance of said City now in effect or whic
16 may hereafter be enacted or adopted.
17 Section 5,-A.The compensation of the Civil Engineer of said City
18 shall be and is hereby fixed at the sum of Two Hundred Seventy
19 ($270.00) Dollars per month payable monthly at the same time and
20 1 out of the same fund that the salaries of other officers of said
21 City are paid, which compensation shall be in full for all service
22 now or which may hereafter be required by him by any law of the
23 State of California, or by any ordinance of said City now in effec
24 or which may hereafter be enacted or adopted.
25 A new Section is hereby added to Ordinance No. 161 designated
26 Section 1-A to read as follows:
27 Section 1-A. The compensation of the City Manager of the City of
28 Anaheim is hereby fixed at the sum of Three Hundred Fifteen
29 ($315.00) Dollars per month payable monthly at the same time and
30 out of the same fund that the salaries of other officers of said
31 ( City are paid, which compensation shall be in full for all service
