THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES OR-
DAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That section 1 of
ordinance No. 568 of the City of
Anaheim, entitled, "An Ordinance
of the City of Anaheim relating to
the sale or other Distrbution of
Goods, Wares and Merchandise in
the City of Anaheim at Auction,
and Providing Licenses in Connec-
tion therewith, Providing Penal-
ties for Violation thereof, and
Repealing all Ordinances or Parts
of Ordinances in Conflict there-
with," be and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful
for any person to sell or exhibit
for sale by way of auction, except
under and by virtue of legal pro-
cess, any property, real or per-
sonal, within the limits of the City
of Anaheim, without first obtain-
ing the proper license therefor, as
hereinafter provided, and any such
auctioneer's license granted here-
under shall not be assignable or
transferable, except upon the ap-
proval of the City Council of the
City of Anaheim.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or
parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk
shall cause this ordinance to be
published once in the Anaheim
Gazette, a newspaper published
and circulated in the .City of Ana-
heim, and the same shall be in
full force and effect thirty (30)
days from and after its final pas-
sage.
The foregoing ordinance is sign-
ed and approved by me this 20th
day of November, 1935.
