A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM VACATING TWO PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS
LOCATED AT 1045 NORTH KEMP STREET PURSUANT TO
CALIFORNIA STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE SECTIONS
8330 ET SEQ.- SUMMARY VACATION (Abandonment No. ABA
2006 00143.)
WHEREAS, an applicant has requested the vacation of two public utility easements
located at 1045 North Kemp Street, Anaheim, California in order to clear title to the land and
facilitate the development of new commercial buildings, pursuant to Building Plan BLD2006 -0045 8;
and
WHEREAS, the public utility easements to be vacated are no longer required for
present or prospective public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the public utility easements to be vacated are superseded by the
relocation of the public utility easements; and
WHEREAS, there are no other public facilities located within the public utility
easements; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of the public utility easements reserved in a Corporation
Easement Deed recorded as Instrument Number 15089 in Book 7560, Page 198 of Official Records
of Orange County, State of California, as shown in Exhibit "A" and, attached hereto and
incorporated herein by this reference.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby authorized
and directed, to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder
of the County of Orange.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that from and after the date the certified copy of this
Resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of the County of Orange, the vacation shall be
complete, and the public service easements vacated shall no longer constitute public service
easements.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim this 20th day of March 2007, by the following roll call vote:

PARCEL ONE: An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across the
Easterly 30.00 feet, as measured at right angles to the center line of Patt Street, of the
South half of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter, and that portion of the North
half of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 3, Township 4 South, Range

Excepting therefrom any portion thereof lying Southerly of a line parallel with and 60.00

Orange County, California, said point being 9.00 feet West of the Northwest corner of said
Lot 23; thence North 0° 01' 22" West, a distance of 264.08 feet; thence South 89° 58' 38"
West 5.00 feet; thence South 0° 01' 22" East 264.08 feet to an intersection with the Westerly
prolongation of the North line of said Lot 23; thence Easterly to the point of beginning.
