RES-2007-108WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find and determine
that the schedule of rates for golf at Dad Miller Golf Course and the Anaheim Hills Golf
Course should be amended; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and declares that adoption of this
fee schedule is exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act
pursuant to Section 21080 (b) (8) of the Public resources Code and California Code of
Regulations Section 15273 in that the fees and rates are established to meet operating
expenses, including employee wage rates and fringe benefits; purchasing or leasing
supplies, equipment or materials; and meeting financial reserve needs and requirements;
and,
hearing.
WHEREAS, the following fees have been considered at a duly noticed public
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the schedule of rates for green fees and use of golf carts at Dad Miller Golf
Course and the Anaheim Hills Golf Course be, and the same are hereby revised, effective
July 1, 2007, as follows:

5. SPECIAL REDUCED RATES
A. SENIOR CITIZENS (sixty -two [62] and over), by identification: Seniors'
rate will be Eight Dollars ($8.00) off the 18 -hole weekday resident rate. Full -fee guests
receive starting time priority. Senior discounts are available for individual play only
(excluding tournaments and outings).
B. Local high school and college: appropriate fees, times, number, rules and
regulations continue to be set by letter of agreement between the Golf Superintendent and
individual schools or by contract with school districts, as availability allows.
6. SPECTATOR FEE
Half of the respective cart fee at that time will be charged to customers riding
along with a player without themselves playing.
7. RATE ADJUSTMENTS
Green fees may be discounted up to 25% for promotional purposes and
increased up to 10% to react to demand and maximize revenues. Rate adjustments will
require authorization by the Director of Community Services.
8. LIFETIME GOLF PASS POLICY
City Manager may grant lifetime golf passes, limited to the following
categories of individuals, in recognition of their service to the City upon completion of
their City tenure:
1. Mayors
2. Council Members who have served two complete terms
3. Executive managers with more than 20 years tenure with the City
(exceptions to these guidelines may be considered by Council)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 99R -249 shall remain in
full force and effect through June 30, 2007, at which time Resolution 99R -249 and any
other resolution in conflict herewith will be superseded by this Resolution and will be of
no further force and effect.
