A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING RECLASSIFICATION
NO. 2006 00190.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive an
application for Reclassification no. 2006 -00190 upon certain real property located within the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, legally described as:
THAT PORTION OF THE WEST 5 ACRES OF THE SOUTH HALF OF THE
SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 14,
TOWNSHIP 4 SOUTH, RANGE 11 WEST, IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY
RECORDER OF SAID COUNTY, RANCHO LOS COYOTES, IN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM, COUNTY OF ORANGE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS PER MAP
RECORDED IN BOOK 51, PAGE(S) 11, OF MISCELLANEOUS MAPS, IN THE
OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER OF SAID COUNTY.
THAT LIES NORTHWESTERLY OF A LINE PARALLEL WITH AND
NORTHWESTERLY 45.00 FEET FROM THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED LINE:
COMMENCING AT THE CENTER LINE INTERSECTION OF ORANGE AVENUE
AND WESTERN AVENUE IN THE COUNTY OF ORANGE, STATE OF

EXCEPTING THEREFROM THAT CERTAIN PORTION THEREOF
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN DEED FROM CHEROKEE MOBILE
GARDENS, A LIMITED PARTNERSHIP TO ELIZABETH LANCASTER AND
GEORGE MILES LANCASTER, RECORDED AS INSTRUMENT NO. 15932 ON
NOVEMBER 11, 1976 IN BOOK 11957, PAGE 1929, OFFICIAL RECORDS OF
ORANGE COUNTY CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public
hearing in Reclassification Proceedings No. 2006 -00190 to consider an amendment to the Zoning
Map referred to in Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and to consider a change in the
boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described to reclassify the subject
property, as herein described, from the T (MHP) (Transition Mobile Home Park Overlay) Zone
into the RS -4 (Single Family Residential) Zone and, at said hearing, did receive evidence and reports
from persons interested therein and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following said hearing, the Planning
Commission did duly adopt a resolution containing a report of its findings, a summary of the
evidence presented at said hearing and denied the proposed reclassification; and
WHEREAS, within the time prescribed by law, the applicant did appeal said Planning
Commission decision to the Anaheim City Council, asking the City Council to reconsider said
reclassification requested by applicant; and
WHEREAS, thereafter, the City Council did set said application for such project for a
de novo hearing, which public hearing was duly noticed in the manner provided by law; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did
hold and conduct such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and did consider the same; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, after careful consideration of all evidence
and reports submitted to the City Planning Commission and the action taken by said Commission,
and all evidence and reports offered at said public hearing before the City Council, that said
reclassification should be denied.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that Reclassification No. 2006 -00190 be, and the same is hereby, denied.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the time within which rehearings must be sought
is governed by the provisions of Section 1.12.100 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and the time
within which judicial review of final decisions must be sought is governed by the provisions of
Section 1094.6 of the Code of Civil Procedure and Anaheim City Council Resolution No. 79R -524.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim this 18th day of December, 2007, by the following roll call vote:
