CALL TO ORDER:
1.The Community Services Board meeting was called to order at 5:33p.m. by Chair Currie.

APPROVAL OF THEMINUTES:
6.Board Member Pinacommented on the minutes that two agencies had been
requested to send additional information to the Board. With those amendments, Vice-Chair Aitken made a motion
to approve the minutesfor the September 16, 2010, meeting; BoardMember Santoianniseconded the motionand
it passed.

A.FY 2011/12Public Service FundingProcess:
1.Funding Sub-Committee Recommendations: A spreadsheet with the recommendations of the Funding
Sub-Committee was distributed to all Board Members present. After a brief discussion, Board Member
Santoianni made a motion to approve the recommendations as presented; Board Member Pina made a
second and they were unanimously approved.
B.CSB Meeting Schedule:Chair Currienoted that since the funding recommendations were approved there
would not be a need for a special meeting in November; therefore, the next regularly scheduled meeting will
be held on Thursday, January 13, 2011.

Board Member Henninger thanked City staff for providing an MP3 recording of the September 16
meeting so he could listen to it before serving on the funding sub-committee. He also noted that Anaheim has a
new I-Phone App that allows users to submit service requests, etc., from their phones and commented that it is a
great application.
Board Member Pina reported that an open house will take place at the newly renovated motel on Beach Boulevard
that has been filled with disabled residents. She also announced that she has been appointed to the State Board of
Keep California Beautiful and will be traveling to Sacramento.Assistant City Manager and Utilities General

Manager MarcieEdwards will be the speaker at the Women’s Division Luncheon onOctober 28
Board Member Pina also announced that the Anaheim Rotary Club has completed their first year working in the
Balsam-Curtis neighborhood, and a cleanup was held recently in the Benmore-Canfield neighborhood by the
Kiwanis Club and Key Club with a very good turnout from residents.
