AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING THE ZONING MAP REFERRED TO
IN TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING
(RECLASSIFICATION NO.96-97-11).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT:
WHEREAS, following a duly noticed public hearing held
on May 28, 1997, pursuant to the provisions of Section 18.03.085
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, the Planning Commission did adopt
its Resolution No. PC97-66 determining that a change or changes
in the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described should
be made, unconditionally.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the Zoning map referred to in Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by
rezoning and reclassifying that certain property situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows, to wit:
PARCEL A:
BEGINNING AT A POINT IN THE CENTERLINE OF EATON
WAY 40.00 FEET WIDE, AS DESCRIBED IN DEED RECORDED
IN BOOK 852, PAGE 82 OF OFFICIAL RECORDS IN THE
OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER OF ORANGE COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA, DISTANT ALONG SAID CENTERLINE SOUTH 00
DEGREES, 28'07" WEST 420.59 FEET FROM THE
CENTERLINE OF BALL ROAD 60.00 FEET WIDE, AS
DESCRIBED IN SAID DEED; SAID POINT ALSO BEING THE
NORTHEASTERLY TERMINUS OR THAT CERTAIN COURSE
DESCRIBED AS A CURVE CONCAVE SOUTHEASTERLY AND
HAVING A RADIUS OF 1000.00 FEET, IN PARCEL 3A OF
THE FINAL ORDER OF CONDEMNATION, SUPERIOR COURT
CASE NO. 145654, A CERTIFIED COPY OF WHICH HAS
RECORDED MARCH 23, 1967 IN BOOK 8206, PAGE 807 OF
OFFICIAL RECORDS OF SAID ORANGE COUNTY: THENCE
SOUTHWESTERLY ALONG SAID CURVE FROM A TANGENT
WHICH BEARS SOUTH 56 DEGREES 59' 23" WEST, THROUGH
A CENTRAL ANGLE OF 35 DEGREES 53' 58" AN ARC
DISTANCE OF 626.56 FEET TO THE CENTERLINE OF TAFT
AVENUE, 40.00 FEET WIDE, AS DESCRIBED IN SAID
DEED; THENCE EASTERLY AND NORTHERLY ALONG SAID
CENTERLINE OF TAFT AVENUE AND EATON WAY TO THE
POINT OF THE BEGINNING.

PARCELS 1 AND 2 OF PARCEL MAP NO. 86-151, AS
SHOWN ON A MAP FILED IN BOOK 217, PAGES 11,12
AND 13 OF PARCEL MAPS, IN THE OFFICE OF THE
COUNTY RECORDER OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA.
into the "CL" COMMERCIAL, LIMITED ZONE of the City of Anaheim.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended and the property above-described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated and incorporated in and made
a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City
Zoning Map, as amended, is hereby adopted and the Planning
Department is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map
to be added to the City Zoning map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 15th day of July ,
1997.
