Anaheim Blvd. Suite 217 Anaheim, CA 92805 EXEMPT GOVERNMENT AGENCY Per Gov't Code 6103 SPACE ABOVE THIS LINE FOR RECORDER'S USE Resolution 2011 -124 GRANT DEED NO.11438 — PARCEL NUMBER 251- 084 -02 — (ACQ NO.6307) RESOLUTION NO. 2011- 124 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE CONVEYANCE BY GRANT DEED OF THE CITY'S RIGHT, TITLE AND INTEREST TO ASSESSOR PARCEL NUMBER 251- 084 -02 (ACQ NO.6307) WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim ( "City ") wishes to convey to the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency ( "Grantee ") that certain real property identified as Assessor Parcel Number 251- 084 -02, Anaheim, California, more particularly described in Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B ", (ACQ No. 6307), attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference ( "Property "); and WHEREAS, the City and the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency ") entered into a Cooperation Agreement dated June 10, 2005 (the "Agreement") to provide for the reconfiguration and redistribution of the Substation Block, bounded by Anaheim Boulevard, Santa Ana Street, Claudina Street and Ellsworth Street (the "Substation Block "); and WHEREAS, under the Agreement, the City is required to convey to the Agency the Property, which conveyance will allow the Agency to continue with the redevelopment of downtown Anaheim and allow for better utilization of the Substation Block through improved site planning and design; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby find and determine it is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim to convey the City's right, title and interest in the Property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, that the Property described as Assessor Parcel Number 251- 084 -02, located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as more particularly described in Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B" be, and it is hereby accepted by the City Council for recordation. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby authorized and directed, to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of the County of Orange.
