A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING AND MODIFYING FEES
FOR SERVICES AND DOCUMENTS PROVIDED BY THE
ANAHEIM CITY CLERK'S OFFICE
WHEREAS, State Law authorizes fees to be charged for copies
of public records; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk's Office is the custodian of certain
public records of the City of Anaheim, including minutes of City
Council meetings, resolutions, ordinances and other records of
the City; and
WHEREAS,
and services
and
the City Clerk's Office provides other information
to the public in numerous areas of public concern;
WHEREAS, the establishment of fees and charges for copies of
these public records and for providing these services will make
it easier for the City Clerk's office to assist the public to
access information and services.
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and declares
that adoption of this fee is exempt from the provisions of the
California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to Section
21080(b) (8) of the Public Resources Code and California Code of
Regulations Section 15273 in that said fee does not exceed the
reasonable cost of providing the services and documents set forth
in the schedule; and
WHEREAS, prior to approving said fees, the City Council has
held at least one public meeting at which oral or written
presentations could be made concerning said proposed fee as part
of a regularly scheduled meeting of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore complied with
the applicable requirements of Chapter 8 of Division 1 of Title 7
of the Government Code of the State of California entitled
Procedures for Adopting Various Fees;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim as follows:
1. The fees set forth in the fee schedule attached hereto
as Exhibit "A" shall be and are hereby adopted, effective as of
July 11, 2001.

more fees or costs for services established by this Resolution or
any portion hereof be declared for any reason to be invalid, it
is the intent of the Council that it would have adopted all other
fees and portions of this Resolution independent of the
elimination of any such fee or such portion as may be declared
invalid.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this 10th day of July ,
