Commissioner Newby indicated that the Economic Development subcommittee
met at the Anaheim White House to discuss the upcoming event on September 12.
The detailed plans have been fine tuned with staff at the Anaheim White House

decided that rather than calling it a fund raiser, it will be an awareness raising
event and the commission will be promoting sponsor recognition and programs
recognition. Commissioner Gin encouraged everyone to bring at least three
guests.
VIII. CITY STAFF UPDATES August Commission Meeting
