2001-236RESOLUTION NO. 2001R-236
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
APPROVING A SPECIAL PERMIT TO MOVE FOUR (4) RESIDENTIAL
STRUCTURES FROM 312 AND 322 SOUTH KROEGER STREET AND
703 AND 705 SOUTH ANAHEIM BOULEVARD TO AGENCY-OWNED
LAND AT 612 TO 624 SOUTH LEMON STREET IN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency intends to relocate and
restore the residential structures currently located at 312 and 322 South
Kroeger Street and 703 and 705 South Anaheim Boulevard (the "Structures");
and
WHEREAS, the Structures are currently deteriorated and damaged with
substandard mechanical equipment; and
WHEREAS, a written application (the "Application") has been filed with the
City of Anaheim for a special permit (a "Special Permit") to move the Structures
from 312 and 322 South Kroeger Street and 703 and 705 South Anaheim

WHEREAS, the Application having been set for public hearing on the 28th
day of August 2001, at the hour of 6:00 o'clock P.M., and notice of the time and
place fixed for such public hearing was given by mail to all persons residing
within a radius of three hundred (300) feet from the property upon which it is
proposed to move the Structures at least (10) days prior to the date fixed for the
hearing, as the names of such owners appeared upon the last available tax
assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the matter having come on regularly for hearing upon such date
and such hearing having been duly held and to be heard and the City Council
having duly considered the Application for a Special Permit, together with all
evidence and reports submitted in connection therewith, does find that such
permit should be granted for the following reasons:
That the Structures proposed to be moved are comparable in value,
size, quality, design and appearance, to the historic homes located to
the west of the location to which the houses are to be moved; and
2. That the Structures will not be detrimental to nor diminish the value of
property in the area; and
That the Structures will conform to the provisions of Title 18 for the
Anaheim Municipal Code applicable to the property upon which they
will be located.
That the relocation and restoration of the Structures has been
determined to be exempt from the provisions of the California
Environmental Quality Act ("CECA") per Section 15301(d) of the
Guidelines for CECA, and not to have a significant effect on the
environment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the application for a Special Permit to move four (4) residential
