A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACCEPTING CERTAIN DEEDS CONVEYING TO
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN INTERESTS IN REAL
PROPERTIES.
WHEREAS, certain deeds described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and incorporated
by reference (hereinafter "DEEDS "), have been presented to the City of Anaheim (hereinafter
"CITY" or "City of Anaheim "); and,
WHEREAS, the grantors, property interests conveyed and location of the property
described in the DEEDS are set forth in Exhibit "A "; and,
WHEREAS, except for the property owners of 2182 W. Niobe Avenue, 710 S.
Brookhurst Avenue, 641 S. Brookhurst Avenue, 804 W. Lincoln Avenue, and 321 N. Dale Avenue
( "UD Property Owners "), the owners of those properties described in Exhibit "A" have offered to
convey to the CITY certain real property interests as a condition of CITY water service and /or
electric service ( "Services "); and,
WHEREAS, the UD Property Owners have offered to convey to the CITY certain
real property interests in their real property so that the CITY can provide to them utility services
( "Underground Conversion Project "); and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby find and determine
it is in the best interests of the CITY to accept the DEEDS for the purposes described herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
1. The DEEDS are hereby accepted by the City Council for no other
consideration than the furnishing of Services in accordance with the Water Rates, Rules, and
Regulations and/or Electric Rates, Rules, and Regulations.
2. Nothing herein shall be construed to be an acceptance of any parcel or
property into the CITY street system (Streets and Highways Code, Section 1806).
3. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to cause the foregoing DEEDS to
be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim this 13th Day of November , 2012, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Mayor Tait, Council Members Sidhu, Galloway, Eastman and Murray
