AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City
of Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No.
RTES 1960-61 , in Reclassification No.
F-60-61-51 , recommending an amendment of Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code and a change in the boundaries
of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after
having held a public hearing thereon in the manner and as pre-
scribed in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to
consider such proposed change of zone or zones, and after having
received evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make
findings, summaries of its hearings, and did recommend a
change or changes of zones as set forth in Resolution No.
159 --SERIES 1960-61 of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 14th day of
February , 19 61 , as the time, and the Council Chamber
in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for a
public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone, and did
give notice thereof in the manner.and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, atthe time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein An opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did
thereupon consider the recommendation of the City Planning
Commission, and did thereupon adopt Resolution (s) No. (s)
6677 , finding and determining that Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code should be amended and that a change or
changes in the boundaries of zone should be made as set forth
in said resolution(s); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) No . (s )
6670 certain conditions and requirements
were made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or
changes of said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLL6WS:
SECTION 1:
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in she City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
PARCEL A:
That portion of Lot 7 of Tract No. 151, Coffman Sub-
division, as shown on a Map thereof recorded in Book
11, page 41 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Easterly line of said lot,
distant thereon, North 150 38t 36i1 West 30.00 feet from
the Southeasterly corner thereof;,thence North 15° 381
36t' West, along said Easterly line, 109.33 feet to the
Northeasterly corner of said lot; thence South 740 211 2411
West along the Northerly line thereof, 29.97 feet; thence
South 150 48t 0211 West 26.08 feet to a point in that
certain curve concave Southwesterly having a radius of
8040 feet in the Northeasterly line of the 80 -foot strip
of land described in deed from James M. Smith, and wife,
to the State of California, recorded in Book 764, page
152 of Official Records, records of said Orange County
(the center of said curve bears South 470 181 3711 West,
from said last mentioned point); thence Southeasterly.,
along said curve, through an angle of 00 411 42", 97.01
feet to the point of beginning.
ALSO Lots 5 and 6 of Tract No. 151, as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 11, page 41 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California.
EXCEPTING from Lot 6 that portion thereof described as
follows: Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of said
Lot 6; thence North 880 481 1711 East along the Southerly
line of said lot, 17.47 feet to a point in that certain
curve concave Southwesterly and having a radius of 8040
feet in the Northeasterly line of the 80 -foot strip of
land described in the deed from James M. Smith and wife,
to the State of California, recorded in Book 764, page
152 of Official Records (the center of which curve bears
South 480 161 42" West from said last mentioned point);
thence Northwesterly along said curve having a radius
of 8040 feet, through an angle of 00 16; 23f1 a distance
of 38.32 feet to a point in the Westerly line of said
Lot 6; thence South 150 38t 36t1 East thereon, 30.00
feet to the point of beginning.
ALSO that portion of Lot 4 of Tract No. 151, as shown

on a Map recorded in Book 11, page 41 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California, described
as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of said
Lot 4; thence North 74° 281 0011 East along the North-
erly line of said Lot! , a distance of 8.03 feet;
thence South 50 151 17' East 45.00 feet to a point
in the Westerly line of said Lot 4, distant South
15° 321 00" West 44.28 feet from the Northwest corner
of said Lot 4; thence North l5+° 321 00" West 44.28 feet
to the point of beginning.

Those portions of Lots 2, 3, 4 and 8 of Tract 151, as
shown on a Map recorded in Book 11, page 41 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, and a portion of Lot 47 of Anaheim
Extension, as shown on a Map thereof made by William
Hamel on file in the Office of the County Recorder
of Los Angeles County, California, described as a
whole as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the North line of
said Lot 4 with the line described in deed to the
State of California, recorded May 61 1954 in Book
2722, page 445 of Official Records of Orange County,
California; thence South 430 371 11" East along said
line and the line described in deed from the State
of California, recorded DecembOr t8j 1959 in Book
5022, page 164 of Official Records of Orange County,
California, and its Southerly prolongation 255.94
feet to the West line of Walnut Street • thence South
00 061 3911 East 104:391; thence South $9° 53t 30"
West 98.36 feet to a point in the Northeasterly line
of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company right-of-way;
thence North 570 031 30" West along said Northeasterly
line 7.31 feet; thence North 10 24t 221' West 116.81
feet to a point in the South line of said Tract 151;
thence South 880 561 30" West along said South line
65.60 feet to the Southwesterly corner of Lot 4 of
said Tract 151; thence North i5a 321 00" West along
the West line of said Lot 41 165.12 feet to the North-
west corner of said Lot; thence North 740 281 00"
East along the North line of said Lot 41.94 feet to
the true point of beginning.
EXCEPTING from Lot 4 that portion described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot 4;
thence North 740 281 00" East along the Northerly line
of said Lot 41 a distance of 8.03 feet; thence South
5° 151 17" West 45.00 feet to a point in the Westerly
line of said Lot 4, distant South 15' 321 001' West
44.28 feet from the Northwest corner of said Lot 4;
thence North 15° 321 0011 West 44.28 feet to the point
of beginning;

now is C-2, GENERAL-00VNERCIAL ZONE, and that it be
changed to and incorporated in the following zones:
That Parcel A, hereinabove described, be changed
to C-3, HEAVY -COMMERCIAL ZONE; and
That Parcel B, hereinabove described, be changed
to M-1, LIGHT-VANUFACTURING ZONE,
subject to the following condition:
That structural protection be provided for existing
storm drains as required by the City Engineer.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be
added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved
and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin �9
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by

adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 16th

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
