A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR
RENTAL FEES FOR FOUNDERS' PARK
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore adopted Resolution No. 79R -2
establishing fees and policies for park, and recreation programs and services; and,
WHEREAS, the fees have been revised periodically; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to revise and update said fees at this time;
and,
WHEREAS, the City desires to establish a cost - recovery fee structure for facility
rentals to be charges for special events and services provided by the City at Founders' Park; and,
WHEREAS, the fees hereinafter adopted do not exceed the estimated reasonable
cost of providing the service for which the fee is charged; and,
WHEREAS, prior to approving said fees, the City Council has held at least one
public meeting at which oral or written presentations could be made concerning said proposed
fees as part of a regularly scheduled meeting of the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and declares that adoption of this fee
schedule is exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to
Section 21080(b)(8) of the Public Resource Code; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that fees to be charged and collected by the Community Services Department with
respect to rentals at Founders' Park shall be as set forth in the attached Exhibit A, which is
attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the fees established in this resolution shall
become effective on July 1, 2013.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby declares that should
any one or more fees established by this resolution or any portion of this resolution be declared
for any reason to be invalid, it is the intent of the Council that it would have adopted all other
fees and portion of this resolution independent of the elimination herefrom of any such fee or
such portion as me be declared invalid.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim this 18th day of T„nA 2013, by the
