Chairman Roth called the special meeting of the Industrial Development
Authority of Anaheim to order at 10:03 a.m.
MINUTES: Approval of the minutes was deferred to the next regular meeting.
CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS: The following actions were authorized in accordance
with the reports and recommendations furnished each Authority Member and as
listed on the Consent Calendar Agenda. Authority Member Roth offered
Resolution Nos. IDA85-1 and IDA85-2 for adoption. Refer to Resolution Book.
1. 183: RESOLUTION NO. IDA85-1: A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF
NOT TO EXCEED $2,500,000,000 PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
AUTHORITY OF ANAHEIM INDUSTRIAL REVENUE BONDS (RUSS BERRIE PROJECT).
(Authorizing the issuance of Industrial Revenue Bonds in an amount not to
exceed $2,500,000 to provide financing for the construction of a warehouse and
related facility to be located on a 2-1/4 acre site near Industrial Avenue and
Hancock Street for Russ Berrie; and directing Jones Hall Hill & White, Bond
Counsel, to proceed with validation proceedings)
2. 183: RESOLUTION NO. IDA85-2: A RESOLUTION OF THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
AUTHORITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF THE RUSS BERRIE APPLICATION.
(Authorizing the filing of the Industrial Development Bond application for
Russ Berrie in an amount not to exceed ~2,500,000 with the California
Industrial Development Financing Advisory Commission).
