A complete copy of the agenda for the special meeting of the Public Financing
Authority was posted at 3:25 p.m. on December 10, 1993 at the Civic Center
kiosk, containing all items as shown herein.
Chairman Daly called the Special Meeting of the Anaheim Public Financing
Authority to order at 6:18 p.m.
ITEMS OF PUBLIC INTEREST: No items of public interest were addressed.
PUBLIC COMMENTS - AGENDA ITEMS: There were no public comments on Public
Financing Authority Agenda items.
1. 137: INVITATION OF PROPOSALS - $20,000,000 -
FINANCE /RECONSTRUCTION /REBUILDING OF THE LENAIN FILTRATION PLANT:
Submitted was report dated December 14, 1993 from the Public Utilities General
Manager recommending that the Authority authorize the invitation of proposals
and related actions on the subject.
MOTION: On motion by Board Member Daly, seconded by Board Member Simpson,
Resolution No. APFA93 -4 was offered for adoption. Refer to Resolution Book.
RESOLUTION NO. APFA93 -4: RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE ANAHEIM
PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY AUTHORIZING THE INVITATION OF PROPOSALS FOR THE
PURCHASE OF NOT TO EXCEED $20,000,000 AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF BONDS OF
SAID AUTHORITY; APPROVING A NOTICE INVITING BIDS RELATING TO THE BONDS AND A
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO SELL BONDS; AND AUTHORIZING THE DELIVERY OF A
PRELIMINARY OFFICIAL STATEMENT. (Finance the reconstruction and rebuilding of
the Lenain Filtration Plant.)
