CALL TO ORDER The Community Services Board meeting was called to order at 5:40 p.m. by Chair
Henninger.
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Chair Henninger invited Board Member Zlaket to lead the Board in reciting
the Pledge of Allegiance.
3. INTRODUCTION OF VISITORS & PUBLIC COMMUNICATION

5. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Board Member Trifa made a motion to approve the meeting minutes of
February 13, 2014, meeting; Board Member Kelso seconded the motion; motion passed with six ayes and two
abstentions.
6. NEW BUSINESS Joe Perez presented the December — January Activity Report and provided highlights on
the Fun on Wheels program noting that ten (10) neighborhoods were currently being served as a result of the
findings from the Anaheim Youth Services Assessment. Joe also mentioned the Annual Recognition
Luncheon would be taking place on Wednesday, March 19 at the City National Grove of Anaheim and that
Board Members are invited to attend. Lastly, Joe highlighted the enhancement of Senior Programs in East
Anaheim.
7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
A. FY 2013/2014 Mid -Year Update: The Board listened to mid -year funding updates from non -profit
agency staff and inquired about the FY 2013 -2014 CDBG funding cycle from the following:
1. Megan Hartman, Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Orange County
2. Michael Baker, Boys and Girls Clubs of Anaheim

B. FY 2014/2015 Public Service Funding Process: Joe Perez reported that the actual funding allocation to
the city is not known and Community Development Department staff has indicated that they should be
receiving word by the end of April, early May.
C. 2014 Meeting & Presentation Schedule: Joe reported that he will be emailing the 2015/2016 CDBG
Funding Application and Instructions for Board Members to review and at the next CSB Meeting final
forms can be approved for the FY2015/2016 funding process. Joe noted that a public notice will be
posted at the end of this month into early April announcing the availability of funding to non - profits.
Joe added that a pre- application meeting is in the process of scheduling a meeting for the non -profit
organizations that may want to come and ask questions in May. Lastly, Joe stated the CDBG funding
applications for FY2015/2016 will be due on June 27.
INFORMATIONAL ITEMS Roberto Baeza complimented the Fun on Wheels program and staff for the
exceptional job that they do. Joe Perez shared and distributed information on the 2014 Free Anaheim Health
Fair taking place on June 1, 2014, and also provided information on the Citywide Food Drive taking place
March 17 -24, 2014. Lastly, Joe shared a copy of the new Anaheim Community Guide that is now printed in
Spanish. Board Member Kelso announced that the American Legions 9679 is having a Charity Golf
Tournament on March 29
