A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
APPROVING A SPECIAL PERMIT TO MOVE TWO (2) RESIDENTIAL
STRUCTURES FROM 320 NORTH SUNKIST STREET AND 1272 EAST
LINCOLN AVENUE TO AGENCY-OWNED LAND AT 1025-1109 EAST
LINCOLN AVENUE IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency intends to relocate and restore the
residential structures currently located at 320 North Sunkist Street and 1272 East Lincoln
Avenue (the "Structures"); and
WHEREAS, the Structures are currently deteriorated and damaged with substandard
mechanical equipment; and
WHEREAS, a written application (the "Application") has been filed with the City of
Anaheim for a special permit (a "Special Permit") to move the Structures from 320 North
Sunkist Street and 1272 East Lincoln Avenue, to a location within the Anaheim Colony
Historic District at 1025-1109 East Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim, California; and
WHEREAS, the Application having been set for public hearing on the 23rd day of
April, 2002, at the hour of 6:00 o'clock P.M., and notice of the time and place fixed for
such public hearing was given by mail to all persons residing within a radius of three
hundred (300) feet from the property upon which it is proposed to move the Structures at
least (10) days prior to the date fixed for the hearing, as the names of such owners
appeared upon the last available tax assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the matter having come on regularly for hearing upon such date and such
heating having been duly held and the City Council having duly considered the
Application for a Special Permit, together with all evidence and reports submitted in
connection therewith, does find that such permit should be granted for the following
reasons:
That the Structures proposed to be moved are comparable in value, size, quality,
design and appearance, to the historic homes located in the Anaheim Colony
Historic District; mid
That the Structures will not be detrimental to nor diminish the value of property
in the area; and
That the Structures will conform to the provisions of Title 18 for the Anaheim
Municipal Code applicable to the property upon which they will be located.

That the relocation and restoration of the Structures has been determined to be
exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act
("CEQA") per Section 15301(d) of the Guidelines for CEQA, and not to have a
significant effect on the environment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the application for a Special Permit to move two (2) residential structures
as hereinabove described in Anaheim, California, be, and the same is hereby granted
subject to compliance with all of the provisions of Title 15 and 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim this 23rd day of April 2002.
