ORDINANCE NO. 5533
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING THE
ZONING MAP REFERRED TO IN TITLE 18 OF THE
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT:
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission heretofore held a duly
noticed public hearing and, as a result thereof, did adopt its
Resolution No. PC92-106, as amended by PC95-129 determining that a
change or changes in the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and
described should be made, unconditionally; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the Zoning Map referred to in Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by rezoning and
reclassifying that certain property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
THAT PORTION OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHWEST
QUARTER OF SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 4 SOUTH, RANGE 10 WEST, IN
THE RANCHO LOS COYOTES, IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, COUNTY OF
ORANGE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS SHOWN ON A MAP RECORDED IN
BOOK 51, PAGE 10 OF MISCELLANEOUS MAPS, RECORDS OF ORANGE
COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, DESCRIBED AS A STRIP OF LAND 100 FEET
WIDE, IN THAT CERTAIN INDENTURE TO THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC
RAILROAD COMPANY RECORDED SEPTEMBER 19, 1899 IN BOOK 45,
PAGE 149 OF DEEDS IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER OF
SAID ORANGE COUNTY.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM THAT PORTION OF SAID LAND LYING
EASTERLY OF THE WESTERLY LINE OF LOT 1 OF TRACT NO. 8340,
AS SHOWN ON A MAP RECORDED IN BOOK 403, PAGES 31 AND 32 OF
SAID MISCELLANEOUS MAPS,
into the "RS -7200" RESIDENTIAL, SINGLE-FAMILY ZONE.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended and the property above-described shall be excluded from the
zone in which it is now situated and incorporated in and made a part
of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City Zoning Map, as
amended, is hereby adopted and the Planning Department is hereby
directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to the City
Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and adopted.

SECTION 3.
CERTIFICATION
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen
(15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of
general circulation, published and circulated in said City, and
thirty (30) days from and after its final passage, it shall take
effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this 14th day of November , 1995.
