AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 5366, AS ADOPTED BY CITY COUNCIL
ON MAY 4, 1993, NUNC PRO TUNC.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM HEREBY ORDAINS
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
Section 8 of Ordinance No. 5366, adopted May 4, 1993,
amending Section 18.32.067 of Chapter 18.32 of Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended nunc pro
tunc to correct a clerical error, to read as follows:
SECTION 8.
That Section 18.32.067 of Chapter
18.32 of Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby, amended to read as
follows:
1118.32.067 SIGN REGULATIONS- ADVERTISING AND
IDENTIFICATION
The following signs as defined in
Chapter 18.05, 'Outdoor Advertising - Signs and
Billboards,' shall be permitted in this zone
subject to the limitations and conditions
prescribed therein:
.010 Nameplates, as provided in
Section 18.05.080.010;
.020 'For Sale,' 'For Rent' or 'For
Lease' Signs, as provided in Section
18.05.080.020;
.030 Identification Signs, as provided
in Section 18.05.080.030;
.040 Temporary Flags and Banners, as
provided in Section 18.05.085;
.050 Special Signs Required or
Permitted by Law, including, but not limited to
public utility signs, political campaign signs
and guide signs not designed to be viewed from
public streets. All such signs shall comply with
the provisions of Section 18.05.060, 'Regulation
of Special Types of Signs."'
SECTION 2.
In all other respects, said Ordinance No. 5366 shall remain
in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY
The City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby declares
that should any section, paragraph, sentence or word of this
ordinance of the Code, hereby adopted, be declared for any reason to
be invalid, it is the intent of the Council that it would have passed
all other portions of this ordinance independent of the elimination
herefrom of any such portion as may be declared invalid.
SECTION 4. SAVINGS CLAUSE
Neither the adoption of this ordinance nor the repeal of
any other ordinance of this City shall in any manner affect the
prosecution for violations of ordinances, which violations were
committed prior to the effective date hereof, nor be construed as a
waiver of any license or penalty or the penal provisions applicable
to any violation thereof. The provisions of this ordinance, insofar
as they are substantially the same as ordinance provisions previously
adopted by the City relating to the same subject matter, shall be
construed as restatements and continuations, and not as new
enactments.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this 29th d of une 1993.
