ORDINANCE NO. 5354
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
PERTAINING TO LABOR CAMPS AND
AUTHORIZING FEES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
That Chapter 6.95 of Title 6 of the Anaheim Municipal
be, and it is hereby, amended to read as follows:
"Chapter 6.95 LABOR CAMPS
6.95.010 DEFINITIONS
.010 The term "labor camp" shall mean any labor
camp as defined in Section 17008 of the California Health
and Safety Code.
.020 The term "Health Officer" shall mean that
person or officer designated by order of the City Council of
Anaheim or by contract as the person or officer having
responsibility for the enforcement of the provisions of this
ordinance.
6.95.020 ENFORCEMENT RESPONSIBILITY
Pursuant to Section 17050 of the California Health
and Safety Code, this City assumes responsibility for the
enforcement of Chapters 1-6, Part 1, Division 13 of the
Health and Safety Code, and regulations adopted thereunder,
in the City of Anaheim.
6.95.030 PERMIT REQUIRED
No person shall operate a Labor Camp unless that
person possesses a permit or amended permit. Permits and
amended permits shall be valid for a period of one year from
the date of issuance.
6.95.040 PERMIT FEES
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 17050 of the
Health and Safety Code, every person applying for a permit
to operate a labor camp shall pay, where applicable, the
following fees:
.010 A permit issuance fee.
.020 A fee for each employee which the labor camp
has the capacity to house plus a fee for each lot or site

provided for the parking of employee's mobile homes or
recreational vehicles.
.030 An amended permit fee for any transfer of a
permit upon change of ownership or possession of the labor
camp.
.040 An amended permit fee for any increase in
the number of employees to be housed or an increase in the
number of lots or sites provided for parking of employee's
mobile homes or recreational vehicles.
6.95.050 REINSPECTION FEES
The permit fees shall be considered as inspection fees
for the initial annual inspection. When reinspection is
required pursuant to Section 642 of Title 25 California Code
of Regulations the operator shall pay a fee for each such
reinspection.
6.95.060 ESTABLISHMENT OF FEES
The County Board of Supervisors shall establish the
amount of the fees to be paid. Such fees shall be paid to the
County Health Officer and retained by the County to defray the
cost of enforcement."
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 2nd day of February,
1993.
