ORDINANCE NO. 5279
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OLWE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING SECTION 18.70. OF THE
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO SPECIFIC
PLAN 87-1 ZONING (THE HIGHLANDS AT ANAHEIM
HILLS)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
heretofore adopted Ordinance No. 4860 pursuant to Chapter 18.93
of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to establishment of zoning
and development standards by addition of Chapter 18.70 to said
Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the zoning
and development standards to permit development of a 162 -unit
residential condominium complex instead of a 234 -unit senior
citizens' apartment complex and establish certain development
standards for Development Area 11; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has complied with the
procedures set forth in Chapter 18.93.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That subsection 18.70.060.060 of Chapter 18.70 of Title
18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same are hereby,
amended to read in its entirety as follows:
11.060 Development Area 11. Area to be developed
for attached single family cluster type housing.
All standards of the "RM-3,000(SC)" Zone (Chapter
18.31) shall apply except as otherwise provided
below:"
(a) Required Lot Frontage. Any lot may
front upon either a private or public
accessway.
(b) Minimum Lot Width. Any lot utilized as
a vehicular accessway shall have a minimum
width of not less than twenty (20) feet.
(c) Minimum Number of Parking Spaces. At
least two and one-half (2.5) parking spaces
shall be provided for each unit having a
floor area of twelve hundred twenty five
(1,225) square feet or less, at least two (2)
of which shall be covered; and at least three

and one-half (3.5) parking spaces shall be
provided for each unit having a floor area
greater than twelve hundred twenty five
(1,225) square feet, at least two (2) of
which shall be covered.
SECTION 3.
That, except as expressly amended herein, Ordinance No.
4860 shall remain in full force and effect.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 10th day of December,
1991.
