CALL TO ORDER The Community Services Board mceting was called to order at 5.35 p.m. by Vice -Chair
Cudd.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Vice -Chair Cudd invited Board Member Trifa to lead the Board in reciting
the Pledge of Allegiance. Chair Henninger arrived tardy and apologized for the delay; and proceeded with the
meeting.

APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Board Member Kelso made a motion to approve the meeting minutes of
Febrl €ary 12, 2015, meeting; Board Member Barnett seconded the motion; motion passed with six ayes and one
abstention.
NEW BUSINESS
A. 1=Y2014/2015 Mid -Year Update: The Board listened to updates presented by representatives of the Boys
and Girls Clubs of Anaheim, AIDS Services Foundation, Access California Services, and Community
Seniorserv.
UNF'INISI -IED BUSINESS
A. FY2014/2015 CSB Liaison Assk-nments — Site Visits Chair Henn €nger asked wbether any Board Members
had the opportunity to visit an organization during the past month. Board Member Barnett reported that she
visited Acacia Adult Day Services; she observed services & activities provided for adults including physical
therapy, occupational therapy, gardening, and transportation to and from the Acacia Adult Day Services
facility.

Board Member Baeza reported that he visited one of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Anaheim facilities; he took
a tour of the main facility off of Broadway and observed the computer lab, teen room, music room, and the
art room.
B. FY2015/2016 Public Service Funding Process Joe Perez reported funding recommendation information
should be received before the April meeting and a copy will be provided. There is the possibility of a three
percent reduction in funding for the upcoming fiscal year. He also noted the City Cormcil workshop on the
CDBG process that was requested will not be needed at this time and Chair Henninger and Vice -Chair Cudd
no longer need to attend.
C. 2015 Meetin4 Calendar Joe Perez reported the Board will continue to listen to mid -year fundirnb updates
from agencies and board members can ask questions as needed.
INFORMATIONAL ITEMS Joe Perez shared Board Member Teresa Shimogawa gave birth to a baby boy
on March 2 "" — mother and baby are loin; well. The Volunteer Recognition Banquet is on March 18` € `. The
Miralo €na Park & Family Resource Center is scheduled to open in early April — information will be shared with
the Board when details are finalized.
Board Member Kelso shared the La Palma Dog Park is a fantastic new facility.
Wendy Solorio shared the Citywide Food Drive will begin on March 16 "'. The City is partnering with Second
Harvest Food Bank of Orange County.
Vice -Chair Cudd shared the Sacred Heart Festival hosted by the Anaheim Arts Council will be on March 21 ".
