A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ADJUSTING RATES OF
COMPENSATION AND ESTABLISHING PAY POLICIES
FOR CLASSIFICATIONS DESIGNATED AS
UNREPRESENTED PART -TIME WITH A FULL -TIME
EQUIVALENT CLASSIFICATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that adopting new terms and conditions for
certain Unrepresented Part-Time classifications is in the best interest of the City of
Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
Section 1
Officers and employees of the City of Anaheim who are now employed, or will
in the future be employed in any Unrepresented Part-Time classification with a full -
time equivalent classification will be compensated at the hourly rate of pay established
for the full -time classification.
Section 2.
Effective the pay period beginning July 3, 2015, all officers and employees of
the City of Anaheim who are now employed, or will in the future be employed in any
Unrepresented Part -Time classification with a full -time equivalent classification, and
who are not CalPERS members, shall be required to participate in the 457P Plan and
shall contribute seven and one -half percent (7.5 %) of his /her gross bi- weekly pay.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this Resolution is
May 19, 2015
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim this 19 day of May 2015, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Council Members Murray, Brandman and Vanderbilt
NOES: None
ABSENT: Mayor Tait and Mayor Pro Tern Kring
ABSTAIN: None
