RES-2008-094A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2007 -098 WHICH ESTABLISHES RATES OF COMPENSATION AND PAY POLICIES FOR UNREPRESENTED PART -TIME JOB CLASSIFICATIONS WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report dated June 24, 2008, that Resolution No. 2007 -098 be amended in the manner set forth, effective June 27, 2008; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that the aforementioned amendment is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim. WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to amend Resolution No. 2007- 098 which established rates of compensation for classifications designated as Unrepresented Part-Time. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. A. Section 1 of Resolution No. 2007 -098 is hereby amended by deleting the following job classification effective June 27, 2008. Classification EMD Quality Coordinator RESOLUTION NO. 2008- 094 P2000 $37.67 B. Section 1 of Resolution No. 2007 -098 is hereby amended by adding the following job classification effective June 27, 2008. Classification EMS RN Salary Grade Step 9 Salary Grade Step 9 P2000 $44.29 C. Effective June 27, 2008 through June 25, 2009, the top step hourly rate for the basic compensation plan for all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim who are now employed, or will in the future be employed, in the benchmark job classifications listed below shall be as follows: Classification EMS RN Step 9 $44.29 I: \OT1009PS.DOC D. Effective June 26, 2009, the top step hourly rate for the basic compensation plan for all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim who are now employed, or will in the future be employed, in the benchmark job classification listed below shall be as follows: Classification Step 9 EMS RN $46.06 E. Effective June 27, 2008, the benchmark rates above shall be applied to the associated classification and the salary relationship as listed in Section 2. Grade 27, 2008. Section 2. The salary increases in Section 1 of this Resolution shall apply to the salary relationship listed below: Step Classification Relationship P2000 7 9 EMS RN Benchmark BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, except as amended herein, Resolution No. 2007 -098 shall remain in full force and effect.
