consumption; a variance to allow reduced front setbacks and less parking spaces than required by code; and an
associated determination of public convenience or
necessity to permit the sale of beer and wine for off-
premises consumption in the convenience market.

Gustavo Gonzalez, Associate Planner, presented a workshop on staff’s analysis
of commercial and industrial parking standards in the City. Planning staff also received comments from the Commission related to these standards.
