A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
APPROVING A SPECIAL PERMIT TO MOVE ONE (1), TWO STORY
BUILDING FROM 1100 WEST LINCOLN AVENUE TO 1108-1120 WEST
LINCOLN AVENUE IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency intends to relocate a two story
mixed-use building currently located at 1. 100 West Lincoln Avenue (the "Structure");
WHEREAS, the Structure is currently deteriorated and has been substantially altered
from its original architectural design;
WHEREAS, a written application (the "Application") has been filed with the City of
Anaheim for a special permit (a "Special Permit"} to move the Structure from 1100 West
Lincoln Avenue to ! 108-1120 West Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim, California;
WHEREAS, the Application having been set for public heming on the 20th day of
August. 2002, at the hour of'5:00 o~clock P.M., and notice of the time and place fixed for
such public hearing having been given by mail to ail persons residing within a radius of
three hundred (300) feet from the property upon which it is proposed to move the
Structure at least (10) days prior to the date fixed for the hearing, as the names of such
owners appeared upon the lasl available tax assessment roll; and
WHER£AS, the matter having come on regularly for hearing upon such date and such
hearing having been duly held and the City' Council having duly considered the
Application for a Special Permit, together with ail evidence and reports submitted in
connection therewith, does find that such permit should be granted for the following
reasons:
That the Structure will be 'temporarily relocated within the immediate area
approximately 200 feet west of~'its current location tt) au adjacent parcel;
That the Structure v~ill not be detrimental to, nor diminish the value of, property
in the area;
That the Structure will conform to the provisions of Titi!e 18 for the Anaheim
Municipal Code applicable to the propeay upon which it will be temporarily
located; and
That the relocation and res,~oration of' ~'
e Structure has been determined to be
ey~empt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act
("CEQA") per Section 15301(d) of the Guidelines for CEQA, and not to have a
significant effect on the environment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the application for a Special Permit to temporarily relocate one (1)
residential structure as hereinabove described in Anaheim, California, be, and the same is
hereby granted subject to compliance with all of the provisions of Title 15 and 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim this 20th day of August 2002.
