Environmental Determination: The Planning Commission will consider whether to find the project to be Categorically Exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act and Guidelines as a Class 2 (Replacement and Reconstruction) Categorical Exemption. Resolution No. PC2016-032 (Seymour / Dalati) Approved, with changes to the draft resolution relating to Public Works Department conditions of approval; these changes were presented to the Planning Commission during the public hearing. VOTE: 5-2 Chair Lieberman and Commissioners Bostwick, Dalati, Ramirez and Seymour voted yes. Commissioners Caldwell and Henninger voted no. Environmental Determination: The Planning Commission will consider whether to find the project to be Categorically Exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act and Guidelines as a Class 1 (Existing Facilities) Categorical Exemption. Resolution No. PC2016-033 (Dalati / Bostwick) Approved, modified Condition No. 1 to state that residents and employees shall not be permitted to maintain more than nine (9) personal vehicles on the premises or while residing at the facility. Added a condition of approval to state that the property owner shall record a covenant requiring that the office and storage rooms be converted back to the original condition as a garage should the use change from a transitional housing facility to an apartment building. VOTE: 7-0 Chair Lieberman and Commissioners Bostwick, Caldwell, Dalati, Henninger, Ramirez and Seymour voted yes.
