A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM VACATING A PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN
PIPELINE EASEMENT LOCATED AT 481 SOUTH MOHLER
DRIVE. (Abandonment No. ABA2002-00057)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate
certain public streets, highways or public service easements
pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements
Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said
vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by
law; and
WHEREAS, on the 14th day of January, 2003, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of a portion
of that certain pipeline easement located at 481 South Mohler
Drive.
See Exhibit "A", attached hereto, for the legal
description of the foregoing area of abandonment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by
this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of
this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of
this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Orange upon receipt of the consideration for this
vacation.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 14th day of January ,
2003.

Legal Description
A portion of a Pipeline Easement situated in Section 6, Township 4 South,
Range 8 West, San Bemardino Base and Meridian described as follows:
That portion of that certain Pipeline Easement being a 10-foot-wide strip of
land as shown in a Conveyance granted from Jotham Bixby Company to
Walnut Canyon Mutual Water.Company, recorded April 6, 1944 in Book
1241, Pages 431 through 434 inclusive, Official Records of Orange County,
California, lying within the boundaries of the below described parcel of land;
said below described parcel of land is also known presently as Assessor's
Parcel Number 356-141-28:
Commencing fit a point on the Easterly line of the area as shown on a Licensed Surveyor's
Map recorded in book 11, page 39, Record of Surveys, in the office of the County
Recorder of said Orange County, North 13° 38' West 441.40 feet from the most l~sterly
comer of said area; thence North 13° 38' West 930.27 feet along said East line; thence
South 68° 07' 30' West to the intersection with the centerline of the 40 foot Road, as
shown on Sheet 3 of a Licensed Surveyors Map recorded in book 14, pages 2, 3 and 4,
Record of Surveys in the office of the County recorder of said Orange County, and as
shown on a map of Survey recorded in book 14, page 13, Records of Surveys in tho office
of the County Recorder of said Orange County; thence continuing South 68° 07' 30" West
to a point on a curve concave to the West having a radius of 50.00 feet, said point being on
the l~asterly line of reservoir Lot No. 3, as shown on a licensed Surveyor's map recorded
in book 13, page 46, Record of Surveys, in the office of the county recorder of said Orange
COUnty, and on a radial line bearing South 78° 29' East; thence Southwesterly through an
arc of 90° 78.54 feet to a line tangent; thence North 78° 29' West 89.00 feet to a curve
tangent, concave to the North having a radius of 50.00 feet; thence Westerly along said
curve through an angle of 26° 27', 23.08 feet; thence South 13056, 00" West, along the
Westerly line of the land conveyed to David D. Peterson by Deed recorded May 19, 1960
in book 5251, page 396 of Official Records, in the office of the County Recorder of said
Orange County, 323.17 feet to an angle point in said line; thence South 45° 09' 00~ East,
along said Westerly line, 329.45 feet; thence South 67° 53' 00" East along said Westerly
line, 85.50 feet to the true point of beginning of the boundary of the land described herein;
thence continuing along said Westerly line South 67° 53' 00" East 12.20 feet to an angle
point therein; thence South 88° 01' 00" East along said Westerly line 127.21 feet to an
angle point therein; thence South 64° 16' 27" East along said Westerly line 165.03 feet;
thence North 20° 02' 20" East along the Easterly line of said land to the centerline of the
40.00 foot Road hereinbefore referred to; thence Northerly along said centerline to an
intersection with a line which bears North 41 o 39' 21" East from the tree point of
beginning; thence South 41 ° 39' 21" West to the tree point of beginning.
