RES-2017-035RESOLUTION NO. 2017- 0 3 5 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR CLASSIFICATIONS ASSIGNED TO THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION, GENERAL UNIT WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report dated February 28, 2017, that the salary schedule and salary relationships be amended for job classifications assigned to the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, General Unit, effective the pay period beginning March 10, 2017; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that aforementioned amendment, is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim. Section 1: 1. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that, effective the pay period beginning March 10, 2017, the basic compensation plan for all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim who are now employed or will in the future be employed in the classifications listed below shall be allocated to the following salary schedule: Classification Step Salary Business Information Systems Technician I 4-9 $26.98 - $34.43 Business Information Systems Technician II 4-9 $32.37 - $41.31 Information Technology Project Management Technician 4-9 $32.37 - $41.31 Geographic Information Systems Technician I 4-9 $26.98 - $34.43 Geographic Information Systems Technician II 4-9 $32.37 - $41.31 Geographic Information Systems Technician III 5-9 $37.38 - $45.44 2. That effective the pay period beginning March 10, 2017, that Appendix A and Article 17, Salary Relationships be amended by creating and allocating classifications titles as follows: Classification Business Information Systems Technician II Business Information Systems Technician I Information Technology Project Management Technician Relationship .8335 x Business Information Systems Technician II 1.000 x Business Information Systems Technician II Geographic Information Systems Technician I Geographic Information Systems Technician II Geographic Information Systems Technician III .8335 x Business Information Systems Technician II 1.000 x Business Information Systems Technician II 1.100 x Business Information Systems Technician II 3. That effective the period beginning March 10, 2017, Appendix A and Article 17, Salary Relationships, as amended, is hereby further amended by deleting the following classifications: Classification GIS Operator I GIS Operator II Except as amended herein, classifications assigned to the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, General Unit, shall remain in full force and effect. The effective date of said amendment to classifications assigned to the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, General Unit, as amended, is March 10, 2017. The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution.
