1. CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Mother Colony House Advisory Board
was held on Monday, January 8, 1996 in the Conference Room of
the Anaheim Public Library. As there was a quorum present, the
meeting was called to order at 10:20 A.M. by Vice Chair Harold
Bastrup.
2. MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING
The minutes of the November 13,. 1995 meeting were read and
approved as mailed by general consent.
3. REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE
Newsletters from the Orange County Historical Society and the
Federation of Orange County Historical Organizations for the
months of November and December were circulated among the
board members.
4. REPORT OF THE LIBRARY LIAISON
Jane Newell reported the statistics for November and December 1995.
There was a one-person tour of the Mother Colony House. The
Anaheim History Room had 8 tours for 40 visitors, 245 patrons and
2,977 questions.
A Good Luck party was held in Mr. Griffith's honor on November 30,
1995. It was very well attended and he extended his thanks to
everyone who came and/or wished him well in his new position.
5. OLD BUSINESS
Per Mr. Griffith's request, copies of the relocation options for
the Mother Colony House developed by the Redevelopment Agency were
distributed to the board.
Doug Renner stated that he would like the board to consider the
George Washington Community site as well.
6. NEW BUSINESS
There was no new business.
7. ITEMS OF PUBLIC INTEREST
There were no items of public interest.
8. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 10:50 A.M.
