ORDINANCE NO. 2045
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 14, CHAPTER 14.44, SECTION 14.44.020 OF
THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELA.TING TO PARKING
METERS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1•
That Title 14, Chapter 14.44, Section 14.44.020 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended to
read as follows:
"SECTION 14.44.020 PARKING METER ZONES ESTABLISHED --
APPLICABILITY OF CHAPTER.
"All public parking lots and areas, owned and maintained
by the City, and the following named streets in the City
are hereby designated, established as, and declared to
be Parking Meter Zones: Anaheim Boulevard; Lemon Street;
Clementine Street; Oak Street; Claudina Street; Chestnut
Street; Emily Street; Helena Street; Broadway Street;
Chartres Street, Olive Street and such other streets as
the City Council shall, from time to time, by resolution
designate as Parking Meter Zones. Whenever any parking
meter is installed as herein provided along the curb, or
in parking lots, adjacent to any parking space in said
zone, the provisions of this chapter shall govern park-
ing in such parking space during the hours of the
respective days as provided in this chapter; provided,
however, that in the event that a parking meter is not
installed adjacent to any such parking space, the use of
such parking space shall be governed and regulated at
all times by any existing ordinance or Code provisions
now applicable to such space, or by any other ordinance
or Code provision hereinafter enacted applicable to the
same. Whenever any parking meter is installed as herein
provided along the curb, or in parking lots, adjacent to
any parking space in said zone, at all times other than
during the hours of the respective days set forth in
this chapter or any resolution adopted pursuant hereto,
the use of such parking space shall be governed and regu-
lated by any existing ordinance, or Code provision, or
resolution now applicable to such space, or by any other
ordinance, Code provision, or resolution hereinafter
enacted applicable to the same."
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
