ORDINANCE NO. 1953
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 263 --
Series 1961-62 in Reclassification No. 61-62-69 ,
recommending an amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearing and did recommend a change or
changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 27th day
of March , 19 62 , as the time, and the Council
Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for
a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place.fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard -and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution (s) No. (s) 62R`335 , finding
and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu-
tion(s); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) 62R-335
certain conditions and requirements were made
as con itions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with as to the property
hereinafter described and as provided in Resolution No. 62R-335.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
• to wit:
That portion of Lot 15, Block K of the Kraemer Tract
as shown on map recorded in Book 12, Pages 87 and 88
of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, State
of California, in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the centerline of
Dowling Avenue, (83.00 feet in width) with the
center line of La Palma Avenue (83.00 feet in width);
thence North 73° 04' 36" East along the center line
of La Palma Avenue 203.00 feet; thence North 16° 55'
54" West 53.00 feet to a point on the Northwesterly
line of said Avenue, said point being 53.00 feet
measured Northwesterly at right angles to said
center line, said point also being the point of
be§inning of this description; thence North 160 55'
54 West parallel to the center line of Dowling
Avenue 150.00 feet; thence South 730 04' 36" West
150.00 feet to a point on the Northeasterly line of
Dowling Avenue; said point being 53.00 feet measured
Northeasterly at right angles to the center line of
Dowling Avenue; thence South 16° 55' 54" East paral-
lel to said center line 125.00 feet to the point of
tangency of a curve concave to the Northeast, having
a radius of 25.00 feet and a central angle of 89°
00' 30"; thence Southeasterly along said curve
38.84 feet to a point of tangency on the Northwesterly
line of said La Palma Avenue; thence North 730 04' 36'
East along said Northwesterly line 125.00 feet to the
point of beginning.
now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in the following zones, upon the conditions
hereinafter set forth:
That all of the above described property shall be
changed to and incorporated in M-1, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL
ZONE, with the exception of those areas lying
immediately along and parallel to any arterial
streets and highways as designated on the adopted
Circulation Element of the General Plan, which areas
shall be changed to P -L, PARKING -LANDSCAPING ZONE,
for a depth of 50 feet from the property line
after any necessary dedication.
That said change of zones shall be made upon the following
conditions:
1. That all engineering requirements of the City
of Anaheim, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks,
street grading and paving, drainage facilities,
or other appurtenant work shall be complied with
as required by the City Engineer and in accordance
with standard plans and specifications on file in
the Office of the City Engineer at the time the
property is developed.

2. That the owners of the property shall pay to the
City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front foot
for street lighting purposes, said amount to be
paid at the time the property is developed.
3. That all plans for development of the property
shall be submitted to and approved by the
Architectural Control Committee on the basis
of compatibility of development, both structurally
and architecturally.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded
from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in
and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and
said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City
Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map
to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 10th day of December, 1963.
