ORDINANCE NO. 1902
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FIXING AND
LEVYING A PROPERTY TAX ON ALL PROPERTY WITHIN;_ THE
CORPORATE LIMITS OF THEN xAXAHEIM FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR '1963-64.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
That there be and hereby is fixed and levied a property tax for the
fiscal year 1963-64 of thirty-eight cents, two and four -tenths mills
($00.3824) on each one hundred dollars ($100) of the assessed valuation of all
real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim,
for the ordinary annual expenditures of said City., -
SECTION 2:
That there be and hereby is -fixed and levied aproperty tax for the
fiscal year 1963-64 of twenty cents, two and four -tenths mills ($00.2024) on
each one hundred dollars ($100) of the assessed valuation of all real and
personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim, for the
purpose of maintaining the public library of said City.
SECTION 3:
That there be and hereby is fixed and levied a property tax for the
fiscal year 1963-64 of fifty-one cents, five and two-tenths mills ($00.5152)
on each one hundred dollars ($100) of the assessed valuation of all real and
personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim, for the
purpose of paying the annual interest on bonds and such part of the principal
as will become due before the proceeds of the next general tax levy will be
available.
SECTION 4:
That the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim shall certify to the County
Auditor of Orange County, the foregoing distribution of the tax rate of the
City of Anaheim to be extended by him on the 1963-64 County Assessment Roll
for the collection thereof in the same manner as County taxes.
SECTION 5:
That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and
shall cause the same to be published once within fifteen (15) days after its
adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed,
published, and circulated in said City, and immediately upon and after its
final passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 1902 was intro-
duced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Anaheim
held on the 27th day of : August, -9 1963, and that the same was duly
passed and adopted at a regular meeting.of said City Council held on
the 3rd day of September, 1963, by the following vote of the members
thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Schutte, Krein and Coons
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Dutton and Chandler
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Ordinance No. 1902 on the 3rd
day of September, 1963.
