APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The minutes of the meeting of N~vember 18, 1965 were
approved.
GUEST: Mr. Liegler introduced Mr. Dick O'Connor, the n~wly hired Stadium Operations
Manager to the Commissioners.
OPEN HOUSE: Commissioner Glover reported that the Chamber of Commerce and Angels
Booster Club have asked if they may assist the selling of the stadium to tenants and
in tickets. Plans for the April 2nd, Open House continue to be formul, ated.
CORRESPONDENCE: Mr~ Coons read a letter from Mr. Frank'~Santilli of the Junior
Chamber of Commerce. The letter was in regards to so~'iciting a chairman for
the April 2nd event or the April 9tho It was decided that the letter should be
forwarded to Mr. Bob Reynolds of the California Angels, while Tom',Liegler would
contact him with ~he personal thanks of the Commission.
TRIP REPORT: Chairman Coons reported on his recent trip, at which time he visited
the Astrodome in Houston and other cities in the south.
NEW BUSINESS: General discussion was held regarding the access roads to the Stadium
and their dates of completion.
STADIUM CLUB PLANS: There was some concern expressed as to how does one get from the
family dining areas in the Stadium Club to another area without walking through the
cocktail lounge. Also the status of the final plans for the Stadium club. Concession
stand plans were reviewed in detail.
ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 9:47 P.M.
