1894ORDINANCE NO. 1894 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAMI MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING 1`0 ZONING„ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY :OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did heretofore duly pass ani. adopt Resolution No, 36_ -7 -- Series 1961-62 in Reclassification No. 61-62-112. recomim ending an amendment of Titie 18 of the Anaheim unfcipa Code,an,d a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in swid Title I& of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed change or changes of zone or zones, and after Ta.,r=ng received .evidence and reports from persons interested therein, and WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission -did make findings and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change or changes of zone or zones as set forth fr.. ;aid resolution; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of findings, summary of evidence and recommendations: of the Cf`ty Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 17th day of Jul , 1962 , as the time, and the ounci1-Chamber n the City mall of the Gity of Anaheim as the place, f©r.'a public hearing.upon said proposed amendment to Title 13 of the .Anaheim Municipal Code.and change or changes of zone or zones, and did° give.notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearimig.. the City Council did hold and conduct such public ,raring,, and did. give all persons interested therein. an opportunity to be rbear,� and 'did receive evidence and reports, and .d:id thereupon considerithe recommendation of the City Planning Commission, and dIA adopt Resolution (s) No: (s) 62R-658 finding. Arid .dette�mining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should bti am ended and that a change or changes in the boundaries of :said. zoh'e:or zones should be made as set forth in said resolution(s); and. WliEREAi , ir; &-l-cordance with said Resolution '(S) 62R-6�8 , certain conditions and requirements were ;aae as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of said zone or zones; and V4; all conditions precedent to said change or changes of zone or zones have been complied with; -I- 61-62-112 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as follows: That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit: PARCEL NO. 1: The South 330 feet of the hereinafter described real property. PARCEL NO. 2: The North 330 feet of the hereinafter described real property. Said real property is situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California and is more particularly described as follows: The West 1/2 of the South 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/L� of Section 8, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B.&M.; EXCEPT the West 3 acres thereof and except the west 264 foot portion East of said 3 acres. ALSO EXCEPT the South 330 feet of the East 65 feet of said land. now is R-21 TWO-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and incorporated in the following zones, upon the conditions hereinafter set forth: That Parcel No. 1 above described shall be changed to C-2, GENERAL -COMMERCIAL ZONE; and That Parcel No. 2 above described shall be changed to M-1, LIGHT -MANUFACTURING ZONE, upon the following conditions: 1. That adequate areas for trash storage, accessible to trash -truck pickup, shall be provided as determined and required by the Street Maintenance and Sanitation Division of the Public Works Department, which areas shall be enclosed with a solid fence or wall prior t6 final building inspection. 2. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required and determined to be necessary by the Chief of the Fire Department of the City of Anaheim. 3. That subject property shall be developed sub- stantially in accordance with plans marked "Exhibits 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5" on file with the Ci ty of Anahe im. -2- i 4. That a 35 -foot landscaped setback area shall be established and maintained abutting the Lincoln Avenue right of way line; and that said landscaping shall be -_installed prior to final building inspection. SECTION 2, The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby, amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and made a Dart of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and adopted. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
