ORDINANCE NO. 1865
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 263 --
Series 1961-62 in Reclassification No. 61-62-69 i.,
recommending an amendment of Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipa
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as .prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change
or changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 27th day of
March19 62 , as the time, and t e Council
Chamber in the City Ham—the City of Anaheim as the place, for
a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did.give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and'did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution (s) No. (s) 62R-335 , finding
and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipa Code
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu-
tion(s) ; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s)
62R-335 , certain conditions and requirements were made
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with as to the property
hereinafter described and as provided in Resolution No. 62R-335.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows:

All that certain real property situated in the State of
California, County of Orange, City of Anaheim, being a
portion of Lot 20, Block K of the Kraemer Tract, as
shown on a Map recorded in Book 12, pages 87 and 88 of
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, described
-0 as follows:
Beginning at a point distant North 740 01' 471° East
72.40 feet and South 150 58' 1311 East 53 feet from the
Northwest corner of that certain parcel of land con-
veyed to the Northroad Realty Corporation, a corporation,
by executor's deed recorded June 20, 1944 in Book 1262,
page 78 of Official Records, thence North 740 01' 471°
East parallel with the Northerly line of said land
133.50 feet to a point on a curve concave Easterly and
having a radius of 2,421.93 feet, a radial line bears
South 69° 13' 52" West; thence Southerly along said
curve through a central angle of 3° 33' 05" an arc
distance of 150.12 feet; thence South 740 01' 47" West
parallel with said Northerly line 151.51 feet to a
point on a curve concave Easterly and having a radius
of 2,571.93 feet, a radial line bears South 660 10' 12"
West; thence Northerly along said curve through a central
angle of 20 57' 48" an arc distance of 133.02 feet;
thence North 26° 42' 01" East 23.02 feet to the point of
beginning.
now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be
changed to and incorporated in the following zones, upon the
conditions hereinafter set forth:
That all of the above-described property shall be
changed to and incorporated in M-1, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL
ZONE, with the exception of those areas lying
immediately along and parallel to any arterial
streets and highways as designated on the adopted
Circulation Element of the General Plan, which
areas shall be changed to P -L, PARKING -LANDSCAPING
ZONE, for a depth of 50 feet from the property
line after any necessary dedication.
That said change of zones shall be made upon the following
conditions:
1. That all engineering requirements of the City of
Anaheim, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks,
street grading and paving, drainage facilities,
or other appurtenant work shall be complied with
as required by the City Engineer and in accordance
with standard plans and specifications on file in
the Office of the City Engineer at the time the
property is developed.
2. That the owner of the property shall pay to the
City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front foot
for street lighting purposes, said amount to be
paid at the time the property is developed.
3. That all plans for development of the property
shall be submitted to and approved by the
Architectural Control Committee on the basis of
compatibility of development, both structurally
and architecturally.

SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within.
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
