AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM FdNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ZONING.
I , CITY CO 'C1L OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
'WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 453 --
Series_ 1962-63 in Reclassification No. 62-63-2 ,
recommending an amendment of Title 18 of the An eim -Municipal
Code and a cha_,ge or charges in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports fror'i persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change
or changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
finding, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Coxmmission, the City Clerk did fix the 25th day of
e tember_-_-__-., 19 62 , as the time, and tK Council
�nnthe City HaTI-37-the City of Anaheim as the place, for
a public, hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
"d'H,E:REAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did glee all parsons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon conn ider the recommendation of the Cit Plannin Commission,
and did adopt Resolution :(Is) No. (s) 62R-96� & 62R-1073 , finding
and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipa Code
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zona or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu-
tion, (s) ; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) 62R-969
and 62R-1073 , certain conditions and requirements were made
as con its.®ns precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said changge or
changes ofzone or zoneg -have been complied with as to the pro-
perty hereinafter de,cribBa.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS-,
SECTION to
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the .zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows-,

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
All that certain property situated in Section 4, in
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San
Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of
California, as shown on a map thereof recorded in
• Book 51, page 7 et seq., Miscellaneous Maps, in the
Office of the County Recorder of said Orange County,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the West line of Lot 10 of
Miles Rancho, as shown on a map thereof recorded in
Book 4, page 7 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office
of the County Recorder of said Orange County, said
point being located 441.17 feet from the Southwest
corner of said Lot 10 said Southwest corner being
the intersection of the center lines of the roads as
shown on a Licensed Surveyor's Map filed in Book 1,
page 55, Record of Surveys in the Office of the
County Recorder of said Orange County, and running
thence North 0° 10' 00" West 76.77 feet to the South-
east corner of the land conveyed to Gorman F. Draper
et ux by deed filed April 6, 1950 as Document No.
19847 in the Office of the Registrar of Titles of
said Orange County; thence West along the South line
of said land conveyed to Gorman F. Draper et ux 160
feet to the Southwest corner of said land; thence
North 0° 10' 00" West parallel with said West line of
said Lot 10, 57 feet to the South line of the land
conveyed to Joseph Packer et ux, by deed filed May 26,
1948 as Document No. 16554 in the Office of the Regis-
trar of Titles of said Orange County; thence West 99
feet along said South line to the Northeast corner of
the land conveyed to Griffith Company, a corporation,
by deed recorded August 6, 1954, in Book 2787 page
119, Official Records; thence South 0° 10' 00 East,
parallel with said West line of said Lot 10, 133.77
feet to the South line of the land conveyed to Everett
J. Martinez, a widower by deed filed November 21, 1946
as Document No. 14392, in the Office of the Registrar
of Titles of said Orange County; thence East along
said South line 259 feet to the point of beginning.
now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, upon
the following conditions:
1. That the owner of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of $25.00 per dwell-
ing unit, to be used for park and recreation
purposes, said amount to be paid at the time the
building permit is issued.
2. That adequate areas for trash storage, accessible
to trash -truck pickup, shall be provided as
determined and required by the Street Maintenance
and Sanitation Division of the Public Works
Department, which areas shall be enclosed with
a solid fence or wall prior to final building
inspection.
3. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required
and determined to be necessary by the Chief of
the Fire Department.

4. That the access drives shall be a minimum width
of 21 feet, with adequate angle cut-offs pro-
vided, or a minimum width of 28 feet if no cut-
offs are provided.
5. That subject property shall be developed sub-
stantially in accordance with plans applicable
to said property on file with the City of
Anaheim, marked "Exhibits Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4 and
5" (subject property being the area described
as Parcel No. 1 in Resolution No. 62R-969).
6. That the interior walls of the proposed car-
ports shall be stuccoed; that enclosed storage
cabinets shall be installed along the rear wall
of each carport; and that suitable bumper
guards shall be installed to protect the in-
terior walls of the proposed carports, all of
which shall be done prior to final building
inspection.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its
final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.

duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council
held on the -30th day of April, 1963, by the following vote of the
members thereof:

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
