ORDINANCE NO. 7.819
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM Y07NICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 602
Series 1962-63 in Reclassification No. 62-63-58
recommending aux amin.dment of Title 18 of the An elm Municipal
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of .zona or zones, and after having received-
evidence
eceivedevidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
'EBEAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change
or changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
finding3, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix. the 19th day of
Februar 19 6 3 as the time, and Councilthe
Chamber lin.. t � City Ha�-the City of Anaheim as the places for
a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and dial give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Minicipal Code; and
W-HREREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and died give. all persons :interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon corysider the recommiendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution fs) No. (s) 63R-1.47 , finding
and determining that Title 18 of the Ain& eim Municipa Code
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu-
t ion, (s) ; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s)
63R-147 , certain conditions and requirements were made
as con its®ns precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW., THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or baps showing such change or changes
as follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
The South 40.00 feet of the East 70.00 feet of the
North 791.22 feet of the South 1018.22 feet of that
portion of lot 10 (measured from the North line
of the unnamed street, now known as La Palma Avenue,
adjoining said lot on the south) of Miles Rancho, in
the city of Anaheim, county of Orange, state of
California, as per map recorded in book 4, page 7
of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the county
recorder of said county, included within the
following described land:
Beginning at a point on the North line of lot 9
of said Miles Rancho which for the purpose of
the following measurements is construed to be
the center line of Romneya Drive adjoining said
lots on the North, westerly 328.98 feet from the
northeast corner of said lot 10; thence easterly
174.66 feet along the North lines of said lots;
thence southerly 1319.20 feet, in a direct line to
a point on the South line of said lot 10 which
for the purpose of this measurement is construed to
be the center line of La Palma Avenue, adjoining
said lot on the South, westerly 156.32 feet from
the southeast corner of said lot 10; thence westerly
174.66 feet along said South line; thence northerly
1319.30 feet in a direct line to the point of
beginning.
now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon
the following conditions:
1. That subject property shall be developed
substantially in accordance with plans marked
"Exhibits Nos. 1, 2 and 3," except as amended
herein, on file with the City of Anaheim.
2. That adequate areas for trash storage, accessible
to trash -truck pickup, shall be provided as deter-
mined and required by the Street Maintenance and
Sanitation Division of the Public Works Department,
which areas shall be enclosed with a solid fence or
wall prior to final building inspection.
3. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required
and determined to be necessary by the Chief of
the Fire Department; and that said hydrants
shall be installed prior to final building
inspection.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded
from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in
and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and
said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the
City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning
map to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes
hereby approved and adopted.

SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
