ORDINANCE NO. 1816
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANA I14
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIi-1.OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT -
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No, 170 --
Series 1.961-62 in Reclassification No. 61-62-111,,
recownending an amendment of Titie 18 of the' na heimunicipa"�—
Code.and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
Zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in saki
Title I.& of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after �s r=ng received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make findings
and sumaries of its hearings and did recommend a change or changes
of zone or zones as set forth fr. 3a id resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findiligs, summary of evidence and.recommendation,,:of the City

public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 19 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code.and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did^ give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in
said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearlog. the City Council did hold and conduct such public: ,.,�:aring,
and.did give all persons interested therein an opportun'i'ty to be
,bear, and 'dick :receive evidence and reports, and .d -id thereupon
consider,the recommendation of the City Planning Commission, and

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the boundaries
of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting'a sectional
Zoning Map or Maps showing such.change or changes as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit
Beginning at the Northeast corner of the South-
east quarter of the Southeast quarter of the
Northeast quarter of Section 15, Township 4 South,
Range 11,jWest, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, in the
City :`Anaheim, as shown on a map thereof
record'K 11 i book 51, page 11, Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County, and running thence.
West along the North line thereof, 495 feet; thence
at right angles South 264 feet to a point; thence
at right angles East 495 feet to a point in the
East line thereof, and thence at right angles
North 264 feet to the point of beginning.
now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE,
upon the following conditions.-
1.

1. That the owners of subject property shall pay to the
City of Anaheim the sum of $25,00 per dwelling unit
to be used for park and recreation purposes, said
amount to be paid at the time the building permit
is issued.
2. That adequate areas for trash storage, accessible
to trash -truck pickup, shall be provided as
determined and required by the Street Maintenance
and Sanitation Division of the Public Works
Department, which areas shall be enclosed with a
solid fence or wall prior to final building
inspection.
3.. That the completion of these reclassification proceed-
ings is contingent upon the granting of Conditional
Use Permit No. 252.
4, That the developer of subject property shall contact
and make arrangements with Standard Oil Company
regarding protecting, lowering, replacing or
relocating its pipe lines and related facilities
prior to final building inspection or prior to the
installation of street improvements, and shall
furnish satisfactory evidence to the City Engineer
that such arrangements have been made.
5. That fire hydrants shall be installed as determined
necessary by the Chief of the Fire Department to
provide adequate fire protection.

6. That subject property shall be developed substantially
in accordance with plans marked "Exhibits 1, 2 and 3"
on file with the City of Anaheim, EXCEPT as amended
herein.
7. That the breezeways between the two buildings proposed
to be constructed on subject property shall be covered.
8. That all carports shall be stuccoed on three sides
on the inside; that bumper guards shall be installed
at the front of said carports; that enclosed
storage cabinets shall be provided in each carport;
and that a 15 -foot setback area shall be established
where the proposed front yard trash area and the
proposed recreational area encroach into said
front yard.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Mao as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the sane to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 19th day of February 1_19 63 .

duced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Ana-
heim held on the 13th day of February, 1963, and that the same was
duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council
held on the 19th day of February, 1963, by the following vote of
the members thereof:

NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Ordinance No. 1816 on the 19th
day of February, 1963.
