AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING 0 ZONING
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY .OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT-.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No,
Series 1961-62 in Reclassification No. 61-62-115 ,
recoWnending an amendment of Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code.and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in saf:id
Title l9 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or, zones, and after gy3,y ng received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein, and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission- did make findings
and sumMaries of its hearings and did recommend a change or changes
of zone or zones as set forth Ir said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and. recommendation, of the City
Plann'Ing Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 1Tj� day of
Julz 1962 , as the time, and theouncil-Chamber
n the City lull of the�ity of Anaheim as the place, for a
public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
.Anaheim Municipal Code.and change or changes of zone or .zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in
said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said publ is
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public ::aring,
and did give, all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
;bearer and 'slid receive evidence and reports, and .did thereupon
consfder,the recommendation of the City Planning Commission, and
d1d adopt Resolution (s) No., (s) 62R-661 , finding
and .determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim unicipal ode should'
bot a4nde'd and that a -change or changes in the boundaries of :said
zoite°.or zones should be made as set forth in said resolution(s);
and
'WEEREA,S, in &--cordance with said Resolution (S)
62R-661 , certain conditions and requirements were ;A e
as conditions precedent to the malting of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and

changes of zone or zones have been complied with;

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the boundaries
of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a sectional
Zoning Map or Maps showing such.change or changes as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
PARCEL 1: The southwest quarter of the southwest quarter
R the southwest quarter of Section 14, Township 4 South,
Range 11 'Fest, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, City of
Anaheim, county of Orange, state of California, as per
map recorded in book 51 page 110 Miscellaneous Maps,
In the office of the county recorder of said county,
EXCEPT the North 414 feet thereof,
ALSO EXCEPT the East 395 feet thereof,
ALSO EXCEPT the South 175 feet of the West 175 feet
thereof.
PARCEL 2: The south 150.00 feet of the north 414,00
feet tithe. west 5.00 feet of the east 400.00 feet of
the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of
the southwest quarter of Section 140 Township 4 South,
Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, city of
Anaheim, county of Orange, state of California, as per
map recorded in book 51 page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps,
In the office of the county recorder of said county,
now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon
the following conditions:
1. That adequate areas for trash storage, accessible to
trash -truck pickup, shall be provided as determined and
required by the Street Maintenance and Sanitation
Division of the Public Works Department, which areas
shall be enclosed with a solid fence or wall prior to
final building inspection.
2. That subject property shall be developed substantially
in accordance with revised plans, marked "Exhibit B,"
on file with the City of Anaheim; and that a 6 -foot
wall shall be constructed along the North and East
boundaries of subject property. Further, that an
asphalt driveway shall be provided of sufficient width,
extending from the Ball Road frontage to the parking
lot, as shown on the plot plan for the development of
the parking lot, with sufficient turn -around provided
for trash -truck pickup and sufficient area for trash
storage as required by the Street Maintenance and
Sanitation Division of the Department of Public Works.
Provided further, that all future development shall
be reviewed by the Planning and Building Departments
for issuance of building permits for adequate protection
of access, trash disposal pickup, and for conformity of
architecture,

3. That a landscaped strip of a minimum width of 6 -feet
shall be provided and maintained on the Knott Avenue
and Ball Road right of way land abutting subject
property; that plans for said landscaping shall be
submitted to and approved by the Superintendent of
Parkway Maintenance; and that said landscaping shall
be installed ;prior to final building inspection.
4. That the irrigation pipeline on subject property
shall be extended to the opposite side of the
proposed masonry wall on the north boundary of
subject property.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall, be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described -shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set -forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and,the City
Engineer Is hereby directed to prepare sectional zoning map
to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full, force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by

on the 18th day of December, 1962, by the following vote of the
members thereof:

NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT:COUNCILUfAN: Schutte
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Ordinance No. 1790 on the 18th
day of December, 1962.
