ORDINANCE NO. 1785
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL, CODE RELATING TC ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIT1Y:,OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No.
Series 1961-62 in Reclassification No. 61-62-81
recommending an amendment of Title 18 of the Anaheim MUnilipil
Code,and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 1,& of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after a r ng received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make findings
and sumiWaries of its hearings and did recommend a change or changes
of zone or zones as set forth ir: laid resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findipgs, summary of evidence and recommendation: of the City
Planning Commission, the City, Clerk did fix the 17th day of
April- ,1 g 62 , as the time, and the Mu c i I . Chamber
in the City Hall of th�iy of Anaheim as the place, for a
public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim .Hunicipal Code.and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did° give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in
said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing,. the City -Council did hold and conduct such public
and did.give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
,hear d sn' d Aid receive evidence and reports, and .d4d thereupon
consider;the recommendation of the City Planning Cotamission, and
di`d adopt Resolution (s) No-. (s) 62R- 29 , finding.
and.detetmining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should;'
amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries of said .
zoffe°:br zones should be made as set forth in said resolution(s);
and
kiHEREAfS, in accordance with said Re:solut•ion (s)

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the boundaries
Is of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a sectional
Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
That portion of the southwest quarter of Section 13,
Township 4 South, Range 11 West, as shown on a map
recorded in Book 51, Page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps
in the office of the County Recorder of the County
of Orange, State of California, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the west line of said section
distant thereon 1019.96 feet south of the northwest
corner of the southwest quarter of said section;
thence east parallel with the north line of said
section 663,95 feet to a point in the east line of
the west half of the northwest quarter of the south-
west quarter of said section and the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING; thence south 0° 101 15" west, along said
east line, 484,96 feet to the -northeast corner of
Lot 162 of Tract No. 2228 as shown on a map recorded
in Book 69, Pages 34 to 37, inclusive, of Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of said County; thence South
890 591.3211 west, along the north line of said
Tract, -297-00 feet; thence north 00 10: 1511 east 185.02
feet; thence east 297,00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING.
Comprising 3.306 acres,
now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, upon
the following conditions:
1. That subject property shall be developed sub-
stantially in accordance with plans marked
"Exhibits 1, 2, and 3,1t and revised plans,
which provide for an access drive 28 feet in
width along the easterly boundary of subject
property and the moving of the entire project
28 feet toward the westerly boundary of subject
property; PROVIDED, HOWEVER, that said revised
plans shall be submitted to and approved by the
Building and planning Departments, and that the
one-story height limitations shall not be waived.
2. That a 6 -foot masonry wa l l shall be constructed
along the northerly, southerly, and easterly
boundaries of subject property, and along the
westerly boundary, excepting that area reserved
for a 60 -foot access drive, and that said wall
shall be constructed prior to final building
inspection.

3. That the owners of subject proerty shall
pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of- $25
per dwelling unit, to be used for park and
recreation purposes, said amount to be paid
at the -time the building permit is issued.
4. That adequate, areas for trash storage, accessible
to trash -truck pickup, shall be provided as
determined and required by the Street Main-
tenance and Sanitation Division of the Public
Works Department, which areas shall be enclosed
by a solid fence or wall prior to final building
inspection.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as- above_ set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is -hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional Zoning map to be
added to the City Zoning -Map showing the changes hereby approved
and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The -City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and -shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
