DECEMBER 3, 2002
The City Council of the City of Anaheim met in regular session.
PRESENT: Mayor Tom Daly, Council Members: Frank Feldhaus, Lucille Kring, Tom Tait and
Shirley McCracken.
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager David Morgan, City Attorney Jack White, and City Clerk
Sheryll Schroeder.
A copy of the agenda for the meeting of the Anaheim City Council was posted on November 27,
2002 at the City Hall inside and outside bulletin boards.
Mayor Tom Daly called the regular meeting to order at 3:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the
Anaheim City Hall, 200 South Anaheim Boulevard and welcomed those in attendance.

MOTION: Mayor Daly moved to waive reading in full of all ordinances and resolutions,
seconded by Council Member McCracken. Motion carried unanimously.
CITY MANAGER/DEPARTMENTAL CONSENT CALENDAR Al - A4: On motion by Mayor
Daly, seconded by Council Member McCracken, the following items were approved in
accordance with the reports, certifications and recommendations fumished each Council
Member and as listed on the Consent Calendar. Mayor Daly offered Resolutions No. 2002R-
244 for adoption. Motion carried unanimously.

RESOLUTION NO. 2002R-244 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM reciting the fact of the General Municipal Election held on November 5,
2002, declaring the result and such other matters as provided by law.
ORDINANCE NO. 5844 (INTRODUCTION) AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM amending the zoning map referred to in Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code relating to zoning (Reclassification No. 2002-00072, 2761 West Ball Road).

ORDINANCE NO. 5845 (INTRODUCTION) AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM amending the zoning map referred to in Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code relating to zoning (Reclassification No. 2002-00083, 2110 East Winston Road).
A4. Approve minutes of the adjourned Council meeting held November 19, 2002.

City Clerk Sheryll Schroeder presented outgoing Council Member Lucille Kring, Mayor Pro Tem
Frank Feldhaus and Mayor Tom Daly expressions of appreciation for their years of service.
Council Communications:
Council Member Lucille Kring thanked family, friends and staff for their support during her
service as Council Member.
Council Member, Mayor Pro Tem Frank Feldhaus thanked everyone for their support and spoke
about accomplishments during his years of service.
Mayor Tom Daly expressed his appreciation to family, friends and invited everyone to join the
Council at a reception in the Community Center.
Council Members McCracken and Tait expressed their thanks to their outgoing colleagues and
told them they would be missed.
At 3:50 P.M., Mayor Daly recessed the Council meeting to 5:00 P.M.
At approximately 5:15 P.M., Mayor Daly welcomed everyone back to the Council Chambers,
Jimmy Gaston, State College Church of Christ offered the invocation and Council Member
Shirley McCracken lead the audience in the flag salute.
City Clerk Schroeder administered the oath of office to Council Member Richard Chavez,
Council Member Robert Hernandez and Mayor Curt Pringle.
Mayor Pringle and Council Members took their seats at the dais and each member took a few
minutes to thank their family and friends.
Mayor Pringle invited everyone to attend the reception to be held at the Community Center.
Adjournment:
At approximately 6:00 P.M., there being no further business to come before the City Council,
Mayor Pringle adjourned the meeting to December 10, 2002, 8:30 A.M. announced to be held at
the City Manger's Conference Room, changed to the Council Chambers.
