ORD INANCE NO. 1768
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS., -the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. Z_
SERIES 1261__-62 , in Reclassification No. 61-62-108
recommending denial of a change in the boundaries.of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed change of
zone or zones, and after having received evidence and reports from
persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make findings,
and a summary of its hearing, and did recommend denial of a change
of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City Plan-
ning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 211th day of
, 19 62 , as the time, and the Council Chamber in
theti y Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for a public
hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code and change or changes or zone or zones, and did
give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution(s) No.(s) 62R-600 , finding and
determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Tode should
be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries of said
zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolution(s);and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said resolution(s), certain
conditions and requirements were made as conditions precedent to
the making of a change or changes of said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim:Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the boundaries
of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a sectional
Zoning Map or Maps showing such.change or changes as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows to wit;
PARCEL 1: That portion of Section 9 in Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana,
City of Anaheim, as shown on a map thereof recorded in
book 51, page 10, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Northerly line of Lot 4, as shown
on a map of survey of a portion of said Section 9 made for F.
W. Fleischmann, and recorded in book 1, page 56, Record of
Surveys, in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange
County, distant Westerly 289.82 feet from the center line of
West Street, as shown on said map; thence Southerly 1176.40
feet parallel with the Easterly line of the West half of
the Northwest quarter of said section, to the Southerly
line of said Lot 4; thence Westerly 684.00 feet along said
Southerly line, to the Southwest corner of the land described
in the deed to Vernon C. Starr and wife, recorded July 31,
1946, in book 1423, page 472, Official Records, in the office
of the County Recorder of said Orange County; thence Northerly
228.00 feet along the Westerly line of said land conveyed to
Starr, to the true point of beginning; thence Westerly 110.00
feet parallel with the Southerly line of said Lot 4; thence
Northerly 198.00 feet parallel with the Westerly line of said
land conveyed to Starr; thence Easterly 110.00 feet parallel
with the Southerly line of said Lot 4, to the Northwesterly
corner of said land conveyed to Stam; thence Southerly 198.00
feet to the true point of beginning.
PARCEL 2: The north 180.00 feet, measured along the westerly
line of that portion of Section 9, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as per
map recorded in book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Naps, in
the office of the County Recorder of said county described
as follows:
Beginning at a point on the northerly line of Lot 4, as shown
on a Licensed Surveyorts Map of a portion of said Section 9,
made for F. W. Fleischmann and as shown on a map of survey
recorded in book 1, page 56, Record of Surveys, in the office
of the County Recorder of said Orange County, 289.82 feet
Westerly from the center line of West Street, as shown on
said map; thence Southerly 1176.4 feet parallel with the
Westerly line of the West half of the Northwest quarter of
said section to the Southerly line of said Lot 4; thence
Westerly 574 feet along said Southerly line, to the true
point of beginning; thence Northerly 426 feet parallel with
the Easterly line of the West half of the NortPwest quarter

of said Section 9; thence Westerly 110 feet parallel with the
Southerly line of said Lot 4; thence Southerly 198.00 feet
to the Northwesterly corner of the land conveyed to Edward
A. Turner and wife by deed recorded January 30, 1951 in book
2137, page 11 of Official Records; thence Easterly b feet
parallel with the Southerly line of said Lot 4 to -the North-
easterly corner of the land conveyed to Turner; thence
Southerly 228.00 feet along the Easterly line of said land
conveyed to Turner to the Southerly line of said Lot 4; thence
Easterly 104 feet along said Southerly line to the point of
beginning
now is-R-0,-ONE_'FAYULY -&UBUREAN ZONE; and-, that it be -(changed to
and incorporated in R±3, TULTIPLE-FPJY1ILY_ RESIDENTIAL ZONE; upon
the following conditions: #
1. That revised plans for= the- development, of -subject
property for single story structures, with adequate
acee;ss to -the garages area, shall be submitted to and
approved by the Planning and Building Departments prior
to the issuance of.any building permit.
2. That the owners of,subject property shall pay to the City
of Anaheim the sum of $25.00 per dwelling unit, to be
used f Gr park and -recreation- purposes_, said amount to be
- paid aft the -time- the- building- permit is issued.
3. That adequate areas for trash storage, accessible to
trash -truck -pickup, s -hall l --be provided as- determined and
requi-red by the Street -Ma ntgnance-and Sanitat-ion
Division of the Public forks Department, which areas
shall be enclosed with a solid fence or wall prior to
final building inspection.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Nap shall be, and the same - ishereb�v:
amended, and the property above-described shall -be excLuded (rem
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated irz alis
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, a-nd said
City Zoning Flap as amended is hereby adopted and_ En-gineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning IFaap to b6 added
to the City Zoning Fsap and inserted in the Anaheim Funici-pal
Code showing the changes hereby approved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the- passage of _this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim -Bul=letin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, publishel- a� nd -�
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
