AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 263 --
Series 1961-62 in Reclassification No. 61-62-69
recommending an amendment of Title 18 of the Anaheim MunicipaU
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein$ and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make findings
and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change or changes
of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 27th day of
March , 19 62 , as the time, and the Council Chamber
in the City Pall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for a
public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in
said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon
consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission, and
did adopt Resolution (s) No, (s) 62R-335 , finding
and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should
be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries of said
zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolution(s);
and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution (s)
62R-335 , certain conditions and requirements were made

said zone or zones; and

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS.-
SECTION
OLLOWS:SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the boundaries
of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a sectional
Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as followsz

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange.. State of California, described as follows, to wit:
PARCEL NO. 1:
That portion of the northerly 222.75 feet (measured along
the easterly line) of the southerly half of lot 15 block K
of the Kraemer Tract, county of Orange, state of California,
as per map recorded in book 12 pages 87 and 88 of Miscella-
neous Records, in the office of the county recorder of Los
Angeles County, California, that lies easterly of the easter-
ly line of a strip of land of varing widths, said strip
having a width as described in (1� and (2) and an alignment
as described in (3).
(1) From the center line of La Palma Avenue to Point
"A", said strip has a width of 105.00 feet, lying
52.50 feet westerly and 52.50 feet easterly of the
line described in (3).
(2) From Point "A" to the center line of Anaheim Road
said strip has a width of 97.00 feet lying 47.50
feet westerly and 49.50 feet easterly of the line
described in (3).
(3) Beginning at a point on the center line of La Palma
Avenue, distant North 73° 09' 45" East 413.52 feet
from its intersection with the center line of Dowling
Street as said intersection is shown in County
Surveyor's Transit book 123 page 40 on file in the
office of the county surveyor, said point being on
the arc of a non -tangent curve concave easterly and
having a radius of 4000 feet, a radial line through
said point bears North 82° 18' 28" West; thence
from said point of beginning, northerly 273.42 feet
alon§ the arc of said curve, through a central angle
of 3 54' 59"; thence tangent to said curve North
11° 36' 31" East, 1020.00 feet to point "A"; thence
continuing North 110 36' 31" East 270.26 -feet to the
beginning of a tangent curve, concave westerly and
having a radius of 4000 feet; thence northerly 1261.91
feet along the arc of said curve, through a central
angle of 180 04' 32"; thence tangent to said curve
North 6° 28' 02" West, 77.88 feet to a point on the
center line of -Anaheim Road, said point being distant
North 730 08' 31" East 1582.53 feet along said center
line from its intersection with Dowling Street as
said intersection is shown in County Surveyor's
Transit book 123 page 22, on file in the office of
the Orange County Surveyor.
Said land is included within the area shown on a map filed
in book 52 page 37 of Record of Surveys, in the office of
the county recorder of said county.
PARCEL NO. 2:
All that portion of the northerly half of the southerly half
of lot 15 in block K of the Kraemer Tract, in the county of
Orange, state of California, as per map recorded in book 12
pages 87 and 88 of Miscellaneous Records, in the office of
• the county recorder of Los Angeles County, California, lying
northerly of the following described line:
Beginning at a point, on the easterly line of said lot 15,
said point being 297 feet northerly from the southeasterly
corner of said northerly half; thence westerly 975.32 feet
parallel with the southerly line of said northerly half to
a point, said point being 345 feet easterly along the wester-
ly prolongation of said parallel line from the westerly line
of said lot 15; thence northerly 58.16 feet parallel with the
westerly line of said lot 15; thence westerly 345 feet paral-
lel with the southerly line of said lot, to the westerly line
thereof.
EXCEPT therefrom the northerly 222.75 feet, measured along
the easterly line thereof.
That lies easterly of the east line of a strip of land of the
uniform width of 105.00 feet, lying 52.50 feet on each side
of the following described line:
Beginning at a point in the center line of La Palma Avenue,
distant North 73° 09' 45" East 413.52 feet from its inter-
section with the center line of Dowling Street as said inter-
section is shown in County Surveyor's Transit book 123 page
40 on file in the office of the county surveyor, said point
being on the arc of a non -tangent curve in the line herein
to be described, said curve being concave easterly and having
a radius of 4000 feet, a radial line through said point bearing
North 82° 18' 28" West; thence from said point of beginning,
northerly alon� said curve 273.42 feet through a central
an§1e of 3° 54 59"; thence tangent to said curve North

Said land is included within the area shown on a map filed
in book 52 page 37 of Record of Surveys, in the office of
the county recorder of said county.
PARCEL NO. 3:
That portion of lot 15 in block K of the Kraemer Tract, in
the county of Orange, state of California, as per map re-
corded in book 12 pages 87 and 88 of Miscellaneous Records,
in the office of the county recorder of Los Angeles County,
California, as conveyed to Albert H. Wischnack by decree re-
corded October 25, 1935, in book 784 page 320, Official
Records,and by deed recorded in book 557 page 310 of Deeds,
both in the office of the county recorder of Orange County,
California, which lies southeasterly of a line parallel and
concentric with and%. southeasterly 52.50 feet from the follow-
ing described line:
Beginning at a point on the center line of La Palma Avenue,
distant North 73° 09' 45" East, 413.52 feet from its inter-
section with the center line of Dowling Street as said inter-
section is shown in County Surveyor's Transit Book 123 page
40, on file in the office of the Orange County Surveyor,
said point being on the arc of a non -tangent curve in the

erly and having a radius of 4000 feet, a radial line through

in book 52 page 37 of Record of Surveys, in the office of
the county recorder of said county.
now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in M-1, LIGHT -MANUFACTURING ZONE, upon the
following conditions:
1. That all engineering requirements of the City of
Anaheim, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks, street
grading and pairing, drainage facilities, or other
appurtenant work shall be complied with' -as required
by the City Engineer and in accordance with standard
plans and specifications on file in the Office of the
City Engineer at the time -the property is developed.
2. That the owner of the property shall pay to the City
of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front foot for street
lighting purposes, said amount to be paid at the time
the property is developed.
3. That all plans for development of the property shall
be submitted to and approved by the Architectural
Control Committee on the basis of compatibility of
development, both structurally and architecturally.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be
added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved
and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper,of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.

introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Anaheim held on the 2nd day of October, 1962, and that the
same was duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said
City Council held on the 16th day of October, 1962, by the
following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Dutton, Chandler, Schutte, Krein
and Coons.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Ordinance on the 16th day of
October, 1962.
