ORDINANCE NO, 1749
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CI'T'Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass an,"adopt Resolution No, 263 --
Series 1961-62 in Reclassification No. 61-62-»62 ,
recorf-ending an amendment of Title 18 of the Anaheim Mun pd l
Code,an,d a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public -hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title I& of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of none or zones, and after "sr ng received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission" did make findings
and sumMaries of its hearings and did recommend a change or changes
of zone or zones as set forth fr. ;aid r eso lut ion; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation,. -of the City
PlannI ng Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 27th _ day of
""March , 19 62 , as the time, and the Council .Chamber
in the City Hall of the qty of Anaheim as the place, for a
public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 19 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code -,and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did,'give notice thereof in the manner- and as provided in
said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said putl"ic
hearifig, the City Council did hold and conduct such public: �:arintg
and did give, all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
?bear,a and Aid receive evidence and reports, and .did there'u,pon
consider; the recommendation of the City Planning Com mission, and
dl -d adopt Resolution (s) No, (s) 62R-335, finding.
and .dette�mining that Title 18 of the Anaheim .MM67p;l Code should=
D4 Amended and that a -change or changes in the boundaries of :said
zoh*e°.or zones should be made as set forth in said resolution(s);
and
WEEREAS, in--i-cordance with said'' Resolution (s)

as conditions precedent to the mating of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said chancg"e or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with as to the
property hereinafter described, and as provided in Condition
No. 6 of said Resolution No. 62R-335;

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the boundaries
of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a sectional
Zoning Map or Maps showing such.change or changes as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
PARCEL 1:
The Easterly 10 acres of the Southerly 20 acres of Lot 15 in
Block 11X11 of Kraemer Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in
Book 12, pages 87 and 88 of Miscellaneous Records of Los
Angeles County, California.
Excepting therefrom that portion thereof which lies Westerly
of the Easterly line of a strip of land of the uniform width
Of 105.00 feet, lying 52.50 feet on each side of the following
described line:
Beginning at a point in the center line of La Palma Avenue,
distant North 730 09t 45J1 East 413.52 feet from its inter-
section with the center line of Dowling Street as said inter-
section is shown in County Surveyorts Transit Book 123,
page Z±O, on file in the office of the Orange County Surveyor,
said point being on the are of a non -tangent curve in the line
herein to be described, said curve being concave Easterly and
having a radius of 4,000 feet, a radial line through said
point bearing North 820 18t 2811 West; thence from said point
of beginning, Northerly along said curve 273.!x_2 feet through a
central angle of 30 541 5911; thence tanCent to said curve
North 110 361 311' East, 1,'90.2.6 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve, concave Westerly and having a radius of 4,000
feet.; thence Northerly along said curve 1,261.91 feet throuch
a central angle of 180 041 3211; thence tangent to said curve
North 60 28t 02" East 77.88 feet to a point on the center line
of Anaheim Road, said point being distant North 730 08t 3111
East along said center line 1,582.53 feet from its intersection
with the center line of Dowling Street as said point of inter-
section is shown in County Surveyorts Transit Book 123, page 22
on file in. tie office of the Orange County Surveyor.
PARCEL 2:
That portion of the Southerly 202.10 feet (measured along the
Easterly line) of the Northerly half of the Southerly half of
Lot 15 in Block 11K11 of the Kraemer Tract, in the City of
Anahelm, County of .Orange, State of s

p g 7 iscellaneous Records, in the
Office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California.,
4rk lying Easterly of the Easterly line of the land described in the
deed to Rile Orange County Flood Control District, recorded
September 28, 1961, in Book 5862, page 845 of official Records
of said Orange County.
now is R -A. RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL, ZONE and that it be changed
to and incorporated in the following zones, upon the conditions
hereinafter set forth:

That all of the above-described property shall be
changed to and incorporated in Iii -1, LIGHT --MANUFACTURING
ZONE, with the exception of those areas lying immediately
along and parallel to any arterial streets and highways
as designated on the adopted Circulation Element of the
General Plan, which areas shall be changed to P -L,
PARKING -LANDSCAPING ZONE, for a depth. of 50 feet from
the property line after any necessary dedication,
upon the following conditions:
1. That all engineering requirements- of the City of
Anaheim, suchascurbs and gutters, s1ddwal1-_s,-
street grading and paving, drainage facilit-ies;
or other appurtenant work shall be complied with
as required by the City Engineer and in accordance
with standard plan -s and specifications on file in
the Office of the City Engineer at the time the
property is developed.
2. That the owner of the property shall pay to the
City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front foot
for street lighting -purposes, said amou nt to be
paid at the time the property is developed.
3. That all plans for development of the property
shall be submitted to and approved by the
Architectural Control Committee on the basis
of compatibility of development, both structurally
and architecturally, with the exception of the
Butler Type, metal building to be constructed on
subject property, which building shall be removed
within a period of two years from date hereof.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
