ORDINANCE NO. 1741
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
Ai,?ENDING TITLE 1, CHAPTER 1.04,
SECTION 1.04.370, PARAGRAPH (g), AND
SECTION 1.04.380 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 1, Chapter 1.04, Section 1.04.370,
Paragraph (g), and Section 1.04.380 of the Anaheim Muni-
cipal Code be, and the same are hereby, amended to read
as follows:
"SECTION 1.04.370 PLANNING CO'1V!HI SS ION- -POWERS
AND DUTIES--OFFICERS--
MEETINGS--FUNDS.
"(g) The members of the Planning Commission,
other than ex -officio and advisory members, shall
be appointed for a period of four years, the terms
of two members expiring each year. The term of
an ex -officio and advisory member shall correspond
to his official tenure. If a vacancy shall occur
otherwise than by the expiration of term, it shall
be filled by appointment for the unexpired portion
of the term. Members of the Planning Commission
shall serve without compensation except for their
expenses as provided by ordinance.
"SECTION 1.04.380 EXPENSE ALLOWANCES -- PLANNING
COMMISSION-, NTEMBERS .
"There shall be allowed to each member of the
Planning Commission, except ex -officio and advisory
members, the sum of Twenty Dollars ($20.00) per
official meeting attended by said member, not to
exceed one meetings per week , to reimburse
said mem e -r for expenses of attending `meetings,
traveling to and from his usual place of business
to the place of said meetings, traveling to and
from property under consideration by the Planning
Commission. The members of the Planning Commission
need not make an accounting for expenditure of said
expense money but shall receive no other expense
allowance except for specific expenditures when
authorized by action of the City Council."
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once within
fifteen (15) days from and after its adoption in the Anaheim
Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published,
and circulated in the City of Anaheim, and thirty (30) days fxom
and after its final passage, it shall be in full force and effect.
