Chairman Bud Schultz called the meeting to order at 5:01 p.m.
PUBLIC COMMENTS — None
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES
Commissioner McCulloch made a Motion to approve the March 26, 2009 Minutes. Motion was
seconded by Vice Chairman Wright. Motion passed.
ACTIVITY REPORTS
A. Golf Superintendent
Michael Lautenbach presented his report and answered questions. Michael Lautenbach stated the
following:
• Casey O'Callaghan will present in May. The Master Plans are complete.
• Club Car was the lowest bidder for the new golf car fleet at both golf courses.
• 102 participants have signed up for 2009 Anaheim City Golf Championship.
• Renewal reminders were mailed out to current Resident Reward Card Program participants.
• About 1,500 customer surveys have been received for both golf courses. Report will be
presented at June meeting.
• Budget will be presented at May meeting. The main changes are:
o There is a proposed Resolution to increase rates by $1.
o Reduction of $500,000 payment to the City for this year and next year.
• Parking lot lights and outdoor lights were repaired at Anaheim Hills Golf Course.
B. Golf Course Superintendent
Dave Johansen presented his report. Dave stated preparation of the golf courses for City
Championship looks good.
C. Director of Golf
Bob Johns presented his report.

FINANCIAL REPORT
Michael Lautenbach stated Food & Beverage increased at both golf courses. Michael stated rounds
and merchandise sales were both down. Michael Lautenbach stated the current economic crisis
continues to have a negative impact on business.
OLD BUSINESS
A. Golf Car Fleet
Commissioner McCulloch questioned how many golf cars are at each golf course. Michael
Lautenbach stated there are 93 golf cars at Anaheim Hills Golf Course and 64 golf cars at Dad Miller
Golf Course.
Chairman Schultz questioned if a ball cleaner will be available on the golf cars. Michael Lautenbach
stated that since the bid was submitted, we cannot add ball cleaners to bid. Michael stated ball
cleaners will be looked into at a later time.
Commission Keys questioned if the GPS will transfer to new golf cars. Michael Lautenbach stated
we own the GPS system and they will be transferred to new golf cars.

A. None to report.
ADJOURNMENT
Commissioner McCulloch made a Motion, seconded by Commissioner Keys, to adjourn the meeting to
May 28, 2009 at 10:00 a.m., at the Anaheim Hills Golf Course, Clubhouse Board Room. The Motion
passed. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 5:20 p.m.
