A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE JOB TRAINING
PARTNERSHIP ACT TITLE III MASTER SUBGRANT
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND
THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR THE TERM OF JULY
1,1997 THROUGH JUNE 30, 1999.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim (the "City") has been designated by the Governor of the State
of California as a Service Delivery Area (an "SDA under the Job Training Partnership Act (the
"JTPA and
WHEREAS, the City is entitled to receive certain funds under the JTPA; and
WHEREAS, the State of California requires the approval of a Subgrant Agreement in order for
the City to be eligible to receive these funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Approval of Master Subgrant Agreement. That certain JTPA Subgrant
Agreement No. G800161 (the "JTPA Master Subgrant Agreement which (i) is attached hereto
as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference and (ii) allocates funds in the amount of Six
Hundred Fifty-Eight Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty Dollars ($658,850.00) to the City of
Anaheim, is hereby approved.
Section 2. City Manager Authorization. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
the Master Subgrant Agreement, modifications thereto and related documents on behalf of the
City.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION IS PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED BY THE
CITY COUCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THIS 2 2nd DAY
